This cottage was built in 2011, has tons of space inside and out, and is family friendly. On the ground level, the double garage has been turned into a rec room and there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with outdoor shower. The main living space is on the floor above as well as two main bedrooms and a bathroom. Above that, there is a loft with plenty of beds that pull out from the wall. The height of the cottage means it has a wonderful view of the lake, nature and sunsets. The large, covered deck on the front is the perfect place to relax or gather with family & friends. The front deck has an outdoor table, lots of seating and large propane BBQ. There is also a large sunny deck on the back of the house with plenty of seating and rocking chairs. The backyard features a pond and firepit. There is also plenty of yardspace for lawn games or kids to play!

Summary: The communication with Paige was excellent. The location was great and we enjoyed playing games on the lawn and watching the sunset from the deck. The kitchen was well-equipped. The layout of the house is unusual, and the bed in the downstairs room was not comfortable. The loft bedroom would have been a lot of fun when our children were young!

Summary: We had a 3 night family getaway on Pelee Island and this cottage provided the perfect setting. It was spacious with all of the amenities we could need and more. The host, Page, was extremely accomodating and fast to answer any questions. Being the first renters of the year and out of season (we went to catch the eclipse), there were a few minor issues which were dealt with very quickly. All the beds in the loft area make it a great spot to bring families with multiple kids. The location is a very short walk from the only grocery store on the island which is very convenient, and in the other direction is a nice long pebble beachfront followed by a sandy beach which makes a nice walk/hike. One thing that may be helpful to know, the "outdoor" shower is actually fully enclosed in a structure added on to the back of the house and only accessible from a door inside the house, so is not exposed to the elements in any way. However being "outdoor" means the water is shut off when the weather is cold to avoid freezing pipes. In the summer it seems like a perfectly usable shower for guests. Thanks again to the owners for the great weekend experience!

Summary: What a beautiful cottage and fully stocked with everything we possabiltiy needed. Our view was breath taking. The people of Pelee Island very friendly which made us feel at home!

Summary: Our family of 14 had a wonderful stay on Pelee. This house was just the right size for our family. Every one had their own space. Perfect. We went to the beach, road bicycles, visited the winery, visited Vin Villa, discovered beach glass and had AMAZING sunsets and fires in the fire ring. House had plenty of firewood. We grilled every night (bring all your own food), had enough refrigerator space with multiple units. Just wish there was another shower, we had two but could of used another with the amount of people we had.

Summary: What a great place to spend a weekend on the island. Ample room for everyone, and spectacular view of the lake with no one around. Bugs were a problem both outside and inside the cottage. The "pond" out back should be cleaned or filled in as it was a festering mosquito pit. Besides this one problem everything else about the house and property were amazing and well taken care of. Would recommend this place to friends and family.

Summary: We rented the cabin from Thursday to Sunday it was great we had such a great weekend. lots of room to sleep nobody was cramped property was beautiful. We would recommend it to everybody that is looking for a place to stay if you need for a large group.
