Summary: This was the perfect house for our yearly family lake trip. The house is so close to Hu-B’s marina in Kuttawa and several good restaurants in Eddyville.

Summary: Very nice and clean property. Host was responsive quickly when we encountered a water leak (from valve inside the wall). Excellent time was had by all.

Summary: The woods and large area around the house were great play areas for our 11 grandkids! Having the foosball and air hockey tables on the lowest level was good to allow separation of the noise from a majority of the bedrooms. Having 2 kitchens was also nice for our large group when fixing meals, and 2 laundry rooms helped when clothes or towels needed to be washed. 3.5 baths with 6 bedrooms, one of which was a bunk room, served to be somewhat of a challenge for the 22 of us (plus a baby) to negotiate, especially since the bunk room slept 11 and had no bathroom off of it. We did make it work, but providing a floor plan in the future would be helpful to make plans for occupancy. The owner was very good at communicating when we had questions. All in all, we had a wonderful visit to celebrate Christmas together with our 4 children and their families who came from as far away as CA and FL!

Summary: We rented the house as an extended family retreat and it was perfect. House was roomy with tons of space for the kids to run around on the property. House was cleaned when we arrived and communication with Brooke was a breeze! Loved our stay here. Thank you!

Summary: House is beautiful and was big enough to have my whole family there and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. When we first arrived, we needed sheets for the sofa bed, called and found out the cleaning lady had them. We made do but I think some sheets should have been brought to us since we were using it. Luckily it was a 3-year-old using it and not any adults. Other issues were that at least 3 toilets had very loose bases, one toilet would continue to run if you did not jiggle the handle, loose banister leading upstairs, dryer was very slow drying. gas grill out of gas. The grill was especially frustrating since we had asked about it specifically and then to find out it was out of gas. We reached out to the owner, and we got a slow response, so went and bought more gas ourselves. Our biggest issue was communication. It was slow and sometimes nonexistent. I know these things happen, but at least apologize and try to make it right, by having sheets brought that were supposed to be there, and make sure your gas grill has gas and have a backup if it runs out, especially if you know these guests in particular are planning on using it. It was just very frustrating. //

Summary: Very clean house! Lots of room to fit my extended family. The kitchen is very well stocked. The owner has a game closet and play room for the kids. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have a large group.
