The Chateau is a large, contemporary, fully furnished Flathead Lake Vacation Rental Home. It is located on the very southern end of beautiful Flathead Lake right in the center of the town of Polson, MT.
Airport options are Kalispell, or Missoula and both are equal distance of less than 1 hour from the North or South respectively.
The Chateau's beds and bedding are all brand new. The house features 3 King size beds, 6 Queen size beds, and 2 hide a beds. The large island kitchen is all granite with stainless steel appliances.
There are Flat screen TV's located in almost every room including the game room.
In the game room there is a new Brunswick regulation pool table and a Tournament of Champions Foosball table, dart board and a ping pong table. Also included is a separate refrigerator to keep your beverages ice cold.
Two separate living rooms allow for enough room for all of your guests.
Relax on the deck while enjoying a cold drink with your loved ones while you smell the bar-b-que and cook on the BBQ Grill or the Blackstone Grill.
Try the (2) person Sunlighten Infa Red Sauna. It’s a dry sauna with many program settings - Cardio, Detox, Weight-loss, Pain and Anti aging. You will love it.
Take in the spectacular panoramic views of Flathead lake and of Polson bay.
The Chateau will sleep 18 people comfortably.
The main floor is one large Living Room and Kitchen combination. This is a 1200 sq ft room with magnificent, unparalleled views. There is also 2 - 1/2 baths on this floor as well.
The second floor hosts the over sized Master Suite, a second living room, and 3 additional large bedrooms. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination in addition to the Master Bath which has it's own jetted tub and tiled walk in shower. The master has two separate vanities.
The third floor has two large bedrooms and a bathroom that has a walk in shower.
The Chateau has 4 separate water heaters so there is no problem getting the entire group ready for dinner or a night out .
The proximity of the Chateau to all the amenities that Polson has to offer is fantastic. It is walking distance to the grocery store, the pharmacy, the deli, Ace Hardware, boat and wave runner rentals, casinos, restaurants, daily lake cruises aboard the 'Shadow', downtown Polson and too many others to mention.
The town of Polson seems to always have something going on from Hoopfest, to Hydoplane Boat Racing. We've included a link to the City of Polson's website.
The golf is fantastic, the fishing is great, Glacier Park is 1.5 hours away and is a must see.
Skiing during the winter months is some of the best in North America.
Christmas and New Years at the Chateau offers a superb Winter getaway with world class skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and all the winter sports that you can imagine. There is room for all your family and friends.
Most importantly this vacation home is set up to handle your large group very nicely. You won't find a nicer home that is as accomodating anywhere.
The location is truly unbeatable from a travelers perspective.
There are many churches from almost every denomination you can think of and 3 of them are 3-4 blocks from the Chateau.

Summary: We had a wonderful experience. We have been doing our family trips for over 25 yrs. Of all the houses/cabins we have rented this one by far has been the most well stocked for cooking and entertaining needs and the game room was amazing. The owners were extremely accommodating and available for any questions. I would highly recommend this property.

Summary: We had 15 people, and this house accommodated us perfectly. The house is actually bigger than what the pictures show. We spent a lot of time on the main floor for meals and socializing, and also spent a lot of time in the back yard playing games and hanging out. Lots of seating, a really nice bbq, and a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. Shelly (the owner) was super nice, gave us a great tour of the house, and was very inviting. The kitchen has everything and more that you would need for preparing meals. There are also a lot of spices and seasonings available to use which was nice. We all enjoyed the game room with darts, pool, ping pong and table soccer. Lastly, the house is in a great location.

Summary: This property easily handled our four families and 15 individuals with ease. Plenty of space indoors with the multi levels, game area, living space, kitchen and outdoor relaxation. Location is excellent to take part in local attractions and as far away as Glacier Park. They were very welcoming to their home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks

Summary: This property was big enough for our large family gathering, and was minutes away from the lake. It's a walking distance away from grocery store and the cute little diner that had fresh huckleberry shakes! The owner met us there for check-in and a tour of the home. The garage has been converted into a game room with pool table, darts, a wet bar, and an extra fridge. There was plenty of room for our big group, with a beautiful back yard which had a big grill, and plenty of grass for little kids to run around on. Communication leading up to our arrival was quick and helpful. If you're thinking about visiting Flathead Lake, I'd recommend this property! Outstanding!

Summary: This is a lovely, well-equipped, clean, comfortable home with lots of space for a large-multigenerational family. Shelly and Todd were responsive to all our requests before we arrived, and there to welcome us and show us around after we got there. We cannot imagine a better place for our family reunion, or one with a more beautiful view.

Summary: A large group of friends and I from California needed a place to stay during a wedding weekend in Polson. Todd and Shelley's house fit us incredibly comfortably (great mattresses, towels, etc.). The space was bigger and nicer than we ever expected. We had a great time using the big kitchen for group meals, playing games in the garage (ping pong and foosball) and enjoying the amazing views of the lake. The downtown area was a short walk, as was several groceries stores. The weather was a little fickle (memorial day weekend!), but we had so much fun being together at the house when we weren't at wedding activities.

Summary: This home fit our large group with room to spare! We loved the house and had a great time. The only downfall was the very busy road you have to cross to get to the water.

Summary: SO ACCOMMODATING! We had 21 people, 5 nights: 12 adults & 9 kids from 3-16yo & everyone had a comfy bed to sleep in! (NO creaking/hard/lumpy beds) *We were blown away with all the amenities & extras! Seriously, we did not expect all the items Shelly & Todd have here that make this feel like home. From sippy cups to batteries, stock pots to warming dishes & SPICES, it was a huge relief knowing any little thing we may have needed that wouldn't be worth buying just for the trip was already taken care of! Shelly & I laughed when she showed me the large Lifetime table & xtra chairs in the game room because we brought our own, thinking there was no way they'd have them (other rental homes had almost no extras). There's so much more to this house than the large kitchen/LR, game room, & bdrms! * They have a kiddie pool! Picnic table on deck! Cornhole! When asked about adding a pingpong table, Shelly put theirs over the pool table before arriving! There's a wet bar, 2nd fridge, tons of counter/storage space, TV, & 1/2 bath in the game room so the teens had it made! We never had to buy laundry detergent or cleaning supplies! There's TONS of movies, DVDs AND VHS! There are hide-a-way beds on main, 2nd & 3rd floors! A couple bdrms have blackout shades! Every room had a fan! There's a game closet! The BBQ grill is GAS, so we didn't have to worry about charcoal or propane! There's extra blankets/pillows in most if not all closets, and laundry baskets! The washer/dryer are HUGE! Unexpected plus: the house next door is vacant, giving us much needed parking space for our boat we didn't have a rental slip for (7 cars fit!). * Previous reviews are spot on: super-soft carpet and sturdy sub-flooring make this home QUIET for those who want/need it. Location is AWESOME. TRY Boettcher Park, pebble beach area! * MINOR inconveniences: We did end up buying two locking interior door knobs & installing them on the two 1/2 baths on the main after a couple people were walked in on, but we left them installed for you! There is no garbage disposal so it's slightly inconvenient when cooking a lot of food. May need to bring LARGE wood cutting board, theirs is glass. *The ONLY complaint here is the lack of A/C in the main LR & 2 bdrms on 2nd floor. Hard for us to sleep well in those rms. We ended up buying a portable AC at the nearby ACE. Hopefully the Parges will fix before Summer 2019, it's obvious they care about comfort & are quick to help with needs!!
