Summary: This place felt bigger than the photos, so props for that! We didn't feel as if we were bumping into each other the entire stay; ample room in this listing. The hot tub was great, the grill was great, lots of great kitchen amenities included. All instructions were easy for check-in and out, the town is Salida is close enough and easy to get to. Great spot for a weekend getaway with friends!

Summary: This house was perfect for our family of 5. Close to town and to Monarch Ski resort. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and necessary utensils to prepare meals. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Fast wifi and comfy beds. Thank you!

Summary: We had a great time at the property. The stars are amazing and you can enjoy them from the hot tub which we did nightly. 20 min drive up to Monarch and a short drive into Salida. Deer greet you each morning. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: The property was in a convenient location and beautiful. We are familiar with Salida after living in the area for many years. We came with family for assistance in getting our cabin ready to sell. Although the property is aesthetically nice there are some 'areas' of concern. The most important is the hazard surrounding the fireplace. Four family members tripped over the rock in front of the furnace. My husband tripped and sustained a horrible fall. He is on a blood thinner and fortunately did not hit his head. He has three broken toes and a sprained wrist. Our suggestion is to consider removing this 'hazard' The other small things pale in comparison. Don and Donna Newsom
