5 Bedroom House in Ann Arbor

Located just 15 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor, this spacious, updated and well-appointed home sits on a beautiful 1.5 acre lot and is ready to welcome groups up to 11 people. With five each bedrooms and bathrooms, our home boasts plenty of sleeping, eating and living space to effortlessly accommodate a large family gathering, multiple couples, or a single family without feeling crowded.
Unplug and enjoy your time together in one of the two main floor living rooms, or tuck away with your laptop into the private office equipped for remote work. The main level also has a formal dining room to seat up to 12 people, a half bath, and a lovely, fully equipped eat-in kitchen recently updated with quartzite counters, reverse osmosis water system, and a gas stove.
In our finished lower level you’ll find yet another living space complete with a comfy sectional sofa. Here is where you’ll find the wall-mounted 65” 4k resolution TV, perfect for watching the big game or Saturday morning cartoons. High speed internet included, as well as access to our Hulu Live account with Live TV, or sign in to your own streaming services.
All of our bedrooms have blackout shades. The primary bedroom has a walk-in closet, sitting area and king sized pillow top bed. The luxurious primary bathroom is equipped with a huge soaker tub, heated floors, a walk-in shower and two separate vanities. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have a queen bed in each, get plenty of natural light, and share a full Jack-and-Jill style bathroom. Bedroom 4 (“The Tropical Room”) is equipped with a double bed and shares a full Jack-and-Jill bathroom with bedroom 5 (“The Kids’ Room”), which has twin bunk beds from Land of Nod, a full-sized crib, and changing table.
Our home is well-suited for any group, with or without children. But because we know how stressful it can be to travel with little ones, we’ve done our best to ensure a comfortable, stress-free stay for kids and parents by installing covers on sockets, bolting dressers to walls, placing breakable objects up high and installing a baby gate at the top of the basement stairs. There are toys for inside and outside fun, as well as children’s dishes, utensils and cups in the kitchen for your use. We have a Stokke Tripp Trapp chair available for your use so your toddler can safely and comfortably sit at the table like a big kid.
Location: Our home is located on the Northeast side of Ann Arbor, in the quiet village of Dixboro. We are 15 minutes from almost everything; downtown Ann Arbor, the Big House, UM hospitals, University of Michigan central campus, Eastern Michigan University, historic Plymouth and Canton. The property is situated in a quiet and family-friendly subdivision with lots of privacy.
The property: You’ll have nearly 1.5 acres to yourselves! There is a sprawling front lawn with stunning landscaping, and in the back you’ll find a spacious patio with a large propane grill, a quiet and picturesque yard shaded by 90 foot shaggy hickories, a Rainbow Play Systems play structure with a slide, swings and rock wall. It’s a beautiful and peaceful space for relaxing with your morning cup of coffee or gathering with your family and friends.
Please note that this is NOT a party house. Our occupancy restrictions are firm. Small gatherings may be permitted at the discretion of the property owner and must be approved in writing prior to booking. Absolutely no smoking or pets. We have a child with severe allergies and cannot compromise on this. Violations of any of these rules are grounds for cancellation of reservation and immediate removal from the property. Summary: This house worked out perfectly as wedding central for my daughter's wedding. The bride, bride's parents and other out of town family members all stayed there. The master suite was perfect for the bridal party to get ready. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for everyone and room to eat and get together. The one down side is there are a lot of stairs, so if you have members in your party who aren't as mobile, then this might be an issue for you.

Summary: We were in Ann Arbor for a family wedding. This house was PERFECT for all three generations. We were thrilled to find they had toys for our little ones (age 5 and 2). Beautiful setting in the midst of mature trees. House and patio was plenty of space for all to either gather or separate depending on need. This was the most well stocked house we have ever rented. And we use VRBO a lot! We had to call Cassie (property manager) to clarify a couple things and she responded very promptly. We would definitely rent here again! Summary: Our stay could not have been more perfect. The manager, Cassie, was attentive and communicative, patient and accommodating. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, well stocked, safe neighborhood, and located close to everything. This house is the true spirit of VRBO, where you deal with a real person, not a rental company, you stay in someone's home, where the presence of family and love can be felt, where hospitality is still a thing, and the care and respect with which we treated the home as its guests was genuine and heartfelt, and our pleasure and privilege.

Summary: If you are looking for a quiet getaway where it’s all about the people you’re with then this is it. This home has large comfortable rooms for you and your family members to sit around and talk for hours. The house is everything you need for your stay. Not one of us complained about the beds. Summary: We stayed here with 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids ages 2-9). The home was SUPER kid friendly but also very nice, spacious, comfortable and private. There was a large yard and play structure for the kids, and a movie room downstairs. The kitchen was spacious and recently updated, was well stocked with all the kitchen supplies, and the coffee nook had a great coffee machine with a Keurig and complimentary K cups. The property was very clean and neat. The host had offered to set up an air mattress and pack and play ahead of time which helped with a smooth check in process. The only thing the home was lacking was a hair dryer but the host promptly brought one over when asked. Very close proximity to the Domino’s Farms petting zoo and easy freeway access. The home is way nicer than depicted in the photos and we would all happily stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
