1.5 acre 5000 square foot modern Lakeshore Mansion on the most premier lake in Alexandria 1800 acre Lake Le Homme Dieu in the chain with 140 foot of beautiful lakeshore with dock and boat lift with beautiful back yard by the lake. Only 20 steps to the shore. Freshly remodeled. Granite Tops. Natural gas fireplace. Massive new 30,000 dollar deck on the lake side.
200 MB high speed internet. Direct TV channels. Free Netflix and Disney Plus! 4 miles to the city center. 1000 ft to public boat landing. Perfect for Large Gathering. Large Massive Modern Kitchen with Vent Hood and Natural gas Stove and two Double Ovens and two stainless steel sinks with extensive granite countertops. Two refrigerators. There is a boat docking stall and one jet ski lift for usage for guests. Rent a boat or pontoon from Bayside rental on the same lake or bring your own water toys. Canoe and inflatable kayak and life jackets provided free of charge.

Between the guests the whole house will be sanitized with antiseptic sprays given Covid-19 Pandemic.
The home is used almost exclusively as a private guest house/ resort.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property... Relaxing, fishing, enjoying campfires, grilling, taking in the gorgeous view of Lake Le Homme Dieu,... A wonderful long Labor Day weekend with our family... Sure didn't want to leave!! Would love to return some day... ♥️

Summary: Very nice large house. Slept us all comfortably. Only complaint was the very stinky trash outside(made one of us sick) and the kitchen floor was not clean. Spilled a little water and when we wiped it up, the paper towels were horribly dirty. Love the large master bedroom!!!

Summary: A decent size house and it fitted our needs. I wasn’t like “wow this is amazing!”, which for the price and all the added fees it seemed like it would be a bit more pizazz. In previous remarks there were notes about the landscaping and yes, it definitely needs work!!!! (Especially when they make a point to tell you how expensive the deck was, a little effort on the landscape would be nice.) I don’t know that I would stay here again, but like I said it was fine.

Summary: Fundamentally the property is very good, however it needs a bit of attention to detail. Examples are, the garage needs to be cleaned and organized. The stairs leading to the lake need to be adjusted to eliminate slant toward lake. The Keurig coffee maker doesn't work. The landscaping and weeds need attention. Tvs and exercise equipment are broken. I don't want to sound negative. We had a good time. It's just with a little work it could be so much better.

Summary: I hosted a weekend yoga retreat here. The location is great! It was clean and well stocked and even had firewood provided. It was definitely spacious enough for my group. It’s not a modern property like the listing describes. The great room had a weird layout and there weren’t any end or coffee tables to set drinks on. The bedrooms felt like storage space for empty bookshelves and random furniture. The dining room had a huge table with only 4 chairs. The steps onto the dock were damaged which seems like a safety concern. The cushions for the deck furniture didn’t fit properly and were stained with holes in them. My biggest issue was the lack of communication. It was very hot and humid our first day and the air conditioning did not work even though we followed the instructions. There was no response to my message asking about how to get it to work. I had also sent a message the week of my stay asking a few simple questions about the property that also went unanswered. If you’re staying here for a family vacation you’ll have everything you need. If you’re hosting an event and want nicer finishes, look for a different space.

Summary: Beautiful property. House is being updated and kitchen is amazing. Flooring and countertops new and high end. Biggest downside is the lack of care outside. Weeds and overgrown shrubs everywhere. Fire pit area is full of weeds. Lawn was mowed but the lack of care in the landscaping is just sad. No kayak or other water toys - only a canoe. Dock isn’t in good shape either. Beds weren’t comfortable - especially the master - I’ve never slept on a bed so hard! Really appreciated the cleanliness and size but definite improvements could be made to make this a top stay!!

Summary: Our family stayed here for 5 days this June for a wedding in the area. The house was perfect. He had more than enough room for the 11 people staying there. The yard and deck were beautiful and perfect for sitting out and looking at the stars. The well equipped kitchen was fantastic for making meals and snacks and gathering. The views were of the lake were amazing. I highly recommend staying here.

Summary: Where do I begin... When we walked into the property, we noticed that the house had not been cleaned. Dirty sheets still on beds, some were on the floor. Dirty towels were on the floor too. My daughters and I washed towels and sheets. Counters were dirty and floors had not been cleaned. The outside grill was disgusting. So many things listed on the property description is not true! Broken chairs, tree growing in window well, and landscaping had been neglected for a long time. For my grandkids the biggest disappointment was the dock was broken. Chad said he hadn't had time to check the property because of a tornado and a graduation. Funny since other homes up and down the lake had functional docks. Chad did give us one night free and waived the cleaning fee. This was our 50th wedding anniversary and so we made the best of it. Not many places have room for 12 people at the last minute.
