6 Bedroom House in Old Forge

This 4000 sq ft Victorian has 3 bathrooms and 6 large bedrooms plus a den on the first floor with a queen size sleeper sofa. There are enough beds for 15 people. There is a 24'x24' private dock for swimming, and boating. There are also kayaks and a paddle board for your use. With a long circular driveway there is plenty of room for parking, and ample room for maneuvering your trailer. Enjoying making meals in the spacious kitchen or grilling up a feast on the 6 burner propane grill. Then sit down for a picnic outside at the picnic table or inside at the large dining room table. We are located within walking distance to the village of Old Forge. We also have Roku on 3 televisions in the house. Most TVs, and Blu-Ray players are also set up with Netflix, HBOGo, Vudu, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. Free Wifi is on premises and covers the house well.
For winter activities, we are located within 3 miles of McCauley Mt for skiing, within 5 miles of snowshoe and cross-country ski trails at Fern Park, within .25 miles of Trail 5 for snowmobiling and gas fill up. There is a large
garage that can store plenty of sleds, and with a long circular driveway there is plenty of room for parking, and ample room for maneuvering your trailer. . Walk out your door, hop on your sled and enjoy over 380 groomed miles of the Central Adirondack Trails!
*Please note that an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle is HIGHLY recommended in Old Forge during winter.

Summary: The house was awesome. Everything was provided and the home is impeccably decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the view was second to none. I was walking around the property in the evening and two deer walked right up to me as if I wasn't even there.

Summary: The house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook and feed our large crew. The kitchen, living room and game room provided good areas for group activities and bedrooms provided privacy when desired. It provided a good bonding experience for the three generations of our family.

Summary: We loved this property. The location was great. Very close to the shops and right on the water. Beautiful home and fully equipped. We did not need anything. The only negative is there are a lot of stairs inside and outside. However it would not stop us from staying there again.

Summary: This is the perfect place for a large group gathering; so many bedrooms and multiple beds in some. The home is comfortable with large seating areas and all of the utensils you would need. I loved that it was close enough to walk into town if you need some exercise or a very short drive if you choose. The peaceful porch and dock were the preferred gathering places for our group with a lovely view of the lake and the feeling that you are isolated.

Summary: This property is absolutely fabulous !!! Description and photos are spot-on.....Beautifully maintained and a huge house for the whole family to spread out. The 3rd floor game room took this property over the top !! I would highly recommedn this property to any large family looking to spend time at Old Forge .

Summary: This property was much better than we expected. Every room in the house was very spacious. Everything that we needed and more was available to us. We would highly recommend this home. The location was very close to town. The fire pit and the dock were perfect!

Summary: This is a older lake house in perfect condition and very well suited for a large family or group. The location is right on the old forge pond/channel and also very walkable to town. The owners have spared no expense in insuring their guests a comfortable stay with every amenity they’ll ever need. We would definitely return!
