Towhee Lodge is located on a plateau meadow in the Aspen Hills subdivision of the Manti-La Sal Mountains and offers the best of two worlds – there is space to hike and play while still being surrounded by spectacular mountain vistas. Bring your telescope, because, on clear nights, you will have an unobstructed view of the stars set against Utah’s famous dark skies. In the warmer weather enjoy sitting on the wrap-around deck outside on the main level and three smaller decks on the upper levels.
Designed with multiple families in mind, TowHee Lodge provides a familial sanctuary away from the stresses and distractions of everyday life. There are enough beds for 18 sleepers with plenty of floor space, and foam camping twin-size floor mattresses for kids.
While getting away is important, so is staying connected. We are pleased to offer Elon Musk's SkyLink satellite internet Wifi service. If you have important files or zoom meetings, these will be no problem with 350MB download speeds in a rural mountain environment. Cell service in the area is very good as well.
The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for making delicious family meals. It has a gas stovetop, microwave, double oven, 2 refrigerators (one in the kitchen, one in the basement garage), prep sink and island for food preparation, double sink with disposal and a dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, blender, mixer, various stockpots, saucepans, cutting boards, silverware, plates, cups, serving and cooking spoons, 2 electric griddles.
The laundry room has a full-size washing machine, dryer, and rinsing sink.
This property is unique in that the road is plowed and kept clear of snow right up to the cabin giving everyone winter access. Visitors will need a car that does well in the snow, with all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, and chains are suggested but we've never needed to use them. Many enjoy renting snowmobiles to ride around miles and miles of snowy land.
In the Spring through the Fall many like to rent ATVs and ride the many trails. We enjoy traveling to Sterling and highly recommend renting four-wheelers, side by sides, and helmets from Skyline Recreation. Riders can call and make reservations to make sure you have the number of machines needed for your party. Palisade State Park, Arapeen Trail System, and Manti-La Sal are just a few of the places you can explore after renting ATVs here for your family.

Summary: We had 22 people from 3 months to 61. There was plenty of room. My grandkids loved the sleeping mats for a group sleepover. The kitchen was nice and big. We were grateful for the extra fridge in the garage. We loved the wrap around deck and spent a lot of time on it watching the kids play. I felt like I was at a dear friend's cabin. We had access to extra towels, blankets, paper towels, and toilet paper. Nice to feel like a treasured guest, instead of a thief. We will definitely rent again.

Summary: The cabin was great. Nice to see wildlife and stars away from the city. Getting to the cabin was the only challenge. The HOA gate was a pain and a safety issue of an emergency was to happen.

Summary: We just had our family reunion at this property and it was the perfect size. Everyone said that they would love to come back! We went into town and went swimming at the rec center and had a lot of fun.

Summary: Family reunion was fun. We were happily surprised that the upstairs rooms both had bathrooms! We went at the hottest time of year and the AC couldn't quite keep up in the afternoon, but they had fans that were nice at night, and it cools off a lot outside. We had an unusually huge rainstorm which caused some complications, but we even had fun during the storm. We did a ropes course in Ephraim which was fun. helixadventures.com is the website, it's very hard to find without the url. Checkout was very easy and overall we had a great time!

Summary: We had a Wonderful time with our family in this beautiful cabin. We rode our ATV’s, played games, went to Scandinavian Days and made such amazing memories. The property owner was awesome.
