Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this house in Point Roberts. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of five -- My husband, 3 teen sons, and myself. There were 3 queen beds and a futon that we used so each boy had his own sleeping space. There were no extra blankets so the owner allowed us to borrow one from the downstairs apartment that we weren't renting. Gary was very easy and pleasant to work with and attentive and quick to respond. We loved the quiet neighborhood. There are no neighbors so close that you can see into their yards or homes. We felt very safe and comfortable allowing our boys to bike around the peninsula at their leisure. They mostly stayed within a few miles of the house. The beach is a short bike ride away and is really fun to visit during low tide. The house stayed cool even when the days were quite warm. We mainly used this home as a jumping off point for our excursions around the Vancouver area. Vancouver, BC is a big city and it was so refreshing to go "home" at the end of a great day to a quiet neighborhood. Going through the border wasn't really an issue for us. We only had to wait one time. One bother was that we couldn't bring most fruits and veggies across either way so we stopped at Walmart each day on the Vancouver side to buy the produce we wanted to eat that day. All in all, this was a great vacation! We hope to come back to this property.

Summary: Overall we were very satisfied with this rental house in a peaceful and unique area, Point Roberts. We had a very enjoyable stay. Gary was very helpful from the time of booking until checking out. He always provided us with prompt assistance and thorough instructions. We definitely would consider renting this house again if we come back to this area.

Summary: This property was very nice. It was clean and fully equipped. We would rent the house again! The only suggestion would be an outdoor garbage can to dump inside garbage in. The owner was very responsive, helpful and easy to work with. A+

Summary: This property was exactly what we were looking for. Situated amongst the trees, it provided serenity and quiet enjoyment away from the city. We were able to drive to any beach in less than 5 minutes. The kitchen provided ample room for cooking our own meals and enjoying each other's company. I will definitely book this again.

Summary: We rented both suites and found them spacious, bright, clean and comfortable. The upper suite is on 2 levels with a great combined kitchen, dining and living room plus bathroom on the first floor and 3 bedrooms plus bathroom on the second. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, tea towels, etc. We brought our own large frying pan and pot and used them but probably could have made do with what was there. If you have a young child you should bring a gate to block the stairs. We brought an expanding one and just propped it across the opening with the bar stools and were very thankful that we had it. The beds and pillows were comfy and everything seemed quite new and well cared for. We only used the downstairs suite for sleeping and as a play area for the kids, but the kitchen looked good and we borrowed items from it for upstairs. Excellent for the price!

Summary: We took 3 kids (2 teenagers) for a family vacation. After comparing with other vacation houses in Canada, we decided to give this one a try. The size of the larger unit (3bds, 1.5ba) is perfect for us. The house has been recently remodeled with new appliances, kitchen counters, decoration art, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with new cookware, gadgets etc. Beds were nice and comfortable with clean bedding/towers. Laundry is in the unit, which was convenient. There is no immediate neighbor to this house, in a perfect rural setting, we felt like surrounded all by woods. While we also enjoyed our vacation to big urban life: good restaurants in Richmond, shopping Malls and easy access to Victoria. A couples of places kids liked most of Point Roberts are: beaches, unspoiled, less crowded and magnificent view, forest park trails for biking and hiking. Mom and Dad had good time at the golf club. One thing to note is that the house is like in Canada, US cell phone signal is weaker than Canadian carries. We went to the beaches to get good Verizon signal.
