"La Torre di Volito" has outdoor appliances that alternate in the green between sun and shade, with deckchairs and tables surrounded by myrtle and mastic, the fresh seats of the large circular table built around an ancient olive tree, the gazebo with table and sitting in the shade of green plants, the ancient pool to cool off and regenerate carved into the rock, and a stone barbecue, for unforgettable aperitifs and dinners under the stars.
Situated on a hill overlooking the Volito Canal and the Felloniche sea, it occupies a land that was once cultivated with vines and the historical signs of the settlement are still visible, the millstones for the crushing and the harvest of the wine, the pajare that they housed the peasants, the stone sheepfold that housed the animals.
And you will be facing on two seas, the Ionian Sea with fine sandy beaches (Felloniche, Torre S. Gregorio, Torre Vado and Pesculuse Maldives) and Adriatic Sea with steep cliffs and caves (Santa Maria di Leuca, Aspro, Ciolo, Novaglie, Guardiola, Castro, to the Terra d'Otranto.
The property is located in Capo di Leuca, in the Otranto-Santa Maria di Leuca Natural Park, Pozzo di Volito Protected Area, a few hundred meters from Felloniche beach.
It's sunny most of the year and every month has its charm and many reasons to be lived.
You go to the sea all year round and take a bath from the end of April to the beginning of November, from the beach, from the rocks or from the boat. Afterwards you can browse through town markets and festivals, take part in cultural events, attend singing and folk dance shows under the stars or at international music concerts. In September you can enjoy the Harvest, at the end of October, the Olive Press and the harvest of Wild Herbs and Myrtle Berries; in December experience the traditional atmosphere of Christmas; in January the clear winter days are anteroom to the blooming of Mimose, Mandorli, Peri and Albicocchi, to the harvest of Asparagus and Wild Fennel, to the explosion of colors of spring flowers that invite to walks and bike rides. And all the year Salento hospitality, excellent cuisine and excellent wines.

Summary: Very relaxing break for two in a nature reserve surrounded by olive groves. Perfect for reading and doing nothing. Lovely walk to Felloniche (the sea) and good value restaurants. Thanks for everything.

Summary: We have stayed in some fantastic holiday accommodation over the years , but this villa exceeded all our previous experiences and expectations. We had the most relaxing holiday . The villa is in a fantastic location , tranquil and completely private. It is exactly as shown on the website ,but you only get a sense from all the thoughts and attention to detail that the owner has put into creating it when you arrive . You have fantastic area's around the villa to relax and unwind. We loved sitting in all the different places created and watching the sun go down on the roof . The pool is lovely and more then adequate for a refreshing cool down . The bedroom and bed was much bigger the we anticipated and we slept really well on an extremely comfortable mattress . All communications with Osvaldo the owner were excellent and he was very helpful and near enough for any support required. Surrounding area's are easy to explore by car and we enjoyed visiting the stunning beaches . An Amazing place to stay !!!!!

Summary: Had a great time in this little villa. Great info and directions from the owner who met us at the door. Villa is very private and quiet with nobody passing by. Nice dipping pool and various outdoor lounging areas. Indoor facilities were first class; clean all new. We walked to the beach and sea front restaurants although it is a 30min walk and you need a torch for the unlit road back after dark although there was no traffic either. Great supermarket was 5min drive away. Best beaches were the sandy ones a few miles up the coast which were amazing but pretty busy. In summary, a brilliant villa with great facilities

Summary: Me and my husband stayed here for a week and we were wowed! The villa itself is small but so self contained, it has everything you'd need and want. The bedroom was a lot better then imagined and we slept so deeply. The surrounding land is phenomenal, you have so much space to relax and enjoy, theres a spot for breakfast, a spot to lounge, a spot for lunch and so on. The views are incredible it genuinely feels like your in the middle of nowhere but your a stones throw from Santa Maria di Leuca with their harbour and restaurants. We watched the ceremonial waterfall which we were so lucky to view and climbed the steps. A car obviously is a must, its impossible to not have one so it's great if it's a tad cloudy you can nip across to Gallipoli for lunch. Loads of places to explore or to stay and relax. The owner was so helpful and friendly, available and happy to help with anything. And Michele, his right hand guy was our life saver! We were about to leave for the airport when we realised our car battery had died, Michele came to our rescue at 6 in the morning and he was such a hero! We made it to the airport in time! What a relief! This place is a rare find, to come here is not for a holiday in Italy.... it is an Italian holiday!

Summary: We were delighted with the property, it's authentic restoration and thoughtful landscaped surroundings. It was clean, well equipped and created a sense of calm and tranquility. We particularly loved the plunge pool, barbecue and sitting on the roof under the stars. We travelled to Gallipoli on the Ionian Coast and Otranto on the Adriatic. The history and architecture is wonderful to see and there are some fabulous beaches along the way. Osvaldo and Daniela are excellent hosts, very responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our stay and made some great suggestions of beaches, restaurants and places of interest to visit. A fabulous holiday with some memories to treasure. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking to truly escape for a genuine and restorative Puglian experience.
