Positive: Our experience at Lata Lama was outstanding from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed by Katoot and Alan. The villa was beautiful with lots of space for everyone to relax. Each morning Katoot came in to make us breakfast and Alan and others were on hand whenever we had a question or needed local advice or assistance. The beds were comfortable and pool area relaxing. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. I wholeheartedly recommend Lata Lama. What a fabulous experience and amazing staff.
Summary: Outstanding hospitality

Positive: This was the highlight of our trip!.....a truly magical place....so cozy! Beautifully decorated, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is super comfy and breakfast is great. There's a deep, clean plunge pool to cool off in, as well as a fan cooled outside area. All in your own private space. The staff are friendly and helpful We will be back! .
Negative: We didn't like that we had to leave!

Positive: The breakfast was excellent. Our private pool was clean and a good size and depth. An easy walk to beachside restaurants to enjoy the sunsets. Free use of a bike to explore.
Negative: Unless we wanted to sit in the very small bedroom with the air conditioner going, it was too hot and humid to sit in the several outdoor areas. They had fairly low roofs and the courtyard was high walled so there was very little breeze. We asked if a portable pedestal fan was available which would have made the stay far more pleasant.
Summary: It would have been so much better if there was a portable fan.

Positive: The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything to make our stay memorable and comfortable. They were especially kind to our 14 month old - making sure he had fresh bananas to snack on (on top of the generous breakfast) and always trying to make him smile. They even brought supplies the night before so we could eat as soon as our baby woke. The villa and pool were spotless and cleaned daily. It felt like our second home.
Negative: Nothing. We were sad to leave.
Summary: Relaxing stay with the nicest people - the epitome of the ‘real Bali’.
