Enjoy Lazy Days at the Lake - cottage life doesn't get much better than this!
Spend a whole day outside: stretch out on a lounge chair for an afternoon nap in the lake breeze, or sink into an adirondack chair with your favorite book, or head down to the semi-private beach (access is right beside the cottage). Uncork a bottle of wine, sear some steaks on the grill, and sit down to dinner as the sun sinks. In the evening, enjoy the fire pit with s'mores under the stars.
INSIDE:
Inside chic design puts a smile on your face - combining the look of a cottage with modern furnishings with floor-to-ceiling, lake-view windows in the living space. Even the kitchen is full of light, with lots of counter space for crafting your vacation meals.
SLEEPING SPACES:
Sleeps up to six in three bedrooms.
Premier has a queen bed walk-in closet and walkout to a honeymoon deck (no kids allowed LOL). Ensuite 4 piece bathroom with cocoon tub!
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed
Bedroom #3 has a double bed with lots of room to stretch out.
Both bedrooms share a 3 piece bathroom with a glass door tile stand-up shower.
OUTSIDE
Cottage is LakeView with public beach access right beside your cottage.
Spend a whole day outside: stretch out on a lounge chair for an afternoon nap in the lake breeze, sink into an Adirondack chair with your favorite book, or head down to the semi-private beach (access is right beside the cottage).
In the evening, uncork a bottle of wine, sear some steaks on the grill, and relax with dinner and conversation. And of course watch the most beautiful sunsets in the world from your private backyard. Sit around the fire pit at night roasting s'mores under the starry skies of Ontario.

NOTE: Lake access is short walk through wooded trail area, and down approx 60 stairs. Lake levels are expected to lower again in 2023.The shoreline changes quite rapidly - it can be sandy or it can be gravelly and that could change in 1 day! There are no weeds and it's fun to find the ever changing sandbars.

Extras at the cottage include a TV with Satellite and DVD player with tons of DVD'S and WIFI. And you can cozy up in front of a Wood Fireplace
Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.

EXPLORE the AREA:
North of Goderich near the community of Kingsbridge you will find lots to do. Go for a round of golf, pickup some fresh bread at Red Burdan Cat Bakery, or head to the farmers market in Goderich, take the kids for ice cream and mini golf at the Pinery Market. Or go for a tour of a local winery or local coffee roastery! If your more adventurous, take a boat tour or aerial tour - there is a marina and airport nearby and there are a few tours to choose from.

Summary: We had the best time at the Lazy Days cottage. The yard is beautiful and spacious for kids to play, and the sunsets over the lake from the deck or campfire are stunning. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean. We would highly recommend this cottage to other families.

Summary: Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every single one! The cottage grounds are just lovely, and so is the view of the lake. Lots of surrounding nature, including cheerful birds and an adorable family of chipmunks nearby. Really enjoyed walking along the beach, and visiting the towns nearby. We did encounter an appliance acting strangely, but after contacting the property manager she helped resolve the issue.

Summary: Warm and inviting cottage with modern amenities. Beautiful inside and out. So much care and detail. Loved the property. We enjoyed our coffee in the chairs with the view of the lake. We also enjoyed a nice fire in the outdoor firepit with the pretty lights and gardens around. Stunning. The location was minutes from Goderich and Grand Bend was 50 mins away. Quiet street when we were there in September. Would recommend and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Jennifer and team!

Summary: Our group consisted of 3 generations of women on a weekend getaway. We found the property to be wonderfully comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. Much thought clearly went into making our stay as enjoyable as possible, even providing treats for our little dog. We spent most of our time outside on the beautiful grounds, looking out at the lake and enjoying the songs of many cheerful birds, but we also took a short trip into Goderich to check out their farmer’s market and shops. The only negative comment we have is not about the cottage, but rather the walk down to the beach. Although it is a short walk, it should be noted that anyone with mobility issues may find this a challenge, as it’s a bit steep in spots with no railings, etc for assistance. Once there, the beach was practically empty and very enjoyable. Thanks to the cottagestays staff for the great service and regular communication! We will definitely be back!!

Summary: This cottage is very clean, very well equipped and comfortable. Sunset views are amazing! There are lots of nice places to sit inside or out in the beautiful gardens. Plenty of space for 5 or 6 adults. Very well maintained with added decor touches. Comfortable couches & beds. A nice area for walks or a short drive to other beaches or towns……..great location! This is a very nice property for a break away. We would definitely return as we loved everything about this cottage.

Summary: Me and my family very much enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the cottage and a feeling that the lake and the beach is truly yours and yours only. At the same time it’s a lovely little neighbourhood with people very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed walking along the nearby farm very much as well. The cottage had everything we needed, it was very clean, and the backyard was a lot of fun for our little Freddie (yorki poo) who loved to play on it. Despite the fact that it didn’t have the Internet, the TV had enough stations to entertain you before going to bed. As we stayed in early August we were lucky to have only a few very hot nights as there was no air conditioning available. The cooler weather made it all more comforting later on. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Summary: Lazy Days is a wonderful cottage that truly lives up to its name. Our family spent a wonderful few days at the house in Spring 2022 and loved every minute. Perched just above Lake Huron (with a great view), it is a beautiful property with wonderful amenities both inside and outside. The large lawn is a great place to relax and unwind with a view to the lake or play with the kids and dogs. There is also an easy, publicly accessible path down to the beach right next to the house. Our favourite feature was by far the bird-feeders which attracted a multitude of varieties of birds and provided company and viewing pleasure all day from inside (through the larger windows) or out on the spacious deck. There was constant contact and support throughout the stay and we would definitely stay at the house and work with Cottage Stays again.

Summary: We just loved it! Don't be deceived by the size when you drive up, because once you step inside, you are welcomed into a bright and cozy space, with soaring windows that capture the amazing view outside. No Wifi - no problem! It was a treat to get away from the electronics and spend some quality family time together. We enjoyed hours at the beach collecting rocks and sea glass, playing board games and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, while gazing at the gorgeous sunset. On our way back, we stopped into Goderich to have a bite to eat at Part 2 Bistro - yum! We had such a great time, we didn't want to leave. :)
