Barefoot Cottages is a gated community located one mile from Windmark Beach. The Coastal Village has three pools, a hot tub, a clubhouse, a fitness center, and BBQ areas surrounded by natural areas and walking trails. Our cottage is located directly across the bay and has a gulf view from our screen porches. You will be able to enjoy stunning sunsets right from your private porch! It is only one mile to Windmark's Public Beach and Bike Trail.
*Lazy Lou is located in the most secluded part of the community, which allows you to enjoy quiet evenings on either of the two private screened porches.
*Located close to one of the three pools located in the complex. Enjoy two screened porches with new wicker furnishings. The upstairs porch has two wicker sofas, two chairs, and a coffee table - the coffee table is big enough for playing cards in the evening. The screen porches both have a bay view! The downstairs porch has a table with four benches, a sofa, and two chairs. Both porches have cafe lights to enjoy in the evening.
*The coastal inspired new furnishings encourages a family fun vacation. The downstairs has been freshly updated with new wood flooring and paint. The den has a 50 inch Ultra HD 4K TV, Wifi, Cable, and access to Netflix / Hulu. The den also has a sofa, loveseat, and a large comfy chair. We also have many board games, puzzles, and movies!
*The dining table seats six and the bar area seats an additional four people. It is open into the fully stocked kitchen. Our appliances include: Keuriq coffee maker, regular coffee maker, crock pot, toaster, etc.
*The downstairs has two Master Suites, both with King size beds and upgraded pillow-top mattresses. Both Master Bedrooms have private bathrooms and large walk-in closets. Both rooms have tv's with cable and access to Netflix / Hulu. The downstairs also has a powder room with a stacked washer and dryer.
*The upstairs has all new carpeting and upgraded linens. It includes an additional Master Suite with a private screened porch with a bay view. This master bedroom also has a king size bed with upgraded pillow-top mattress and private bath with a walk in shower. Also has a tv with cable and access to Netflix / Hulu.
*The fourth bedroom is also located upstairs and has a bunkbed with two full size mattresses. This room is ready for kids of all ages with a few board games, card games, cable, and access to Netflix / Hulu.
*Lazy Lou has plenty of amenities for lazy, rainy days at the cottage. The dining room table or coffee table is large enough to enjoy board games or puzzles and the kids can enjoy the bunkbed room with fun games.
*Lazy Lou also has plenty of amenities for sunny days at the gulf! All you have to bring is yourself and your swimsuit!

Summary: The accommodations were great! 4 bedrooms with joining bathrooms were perfect for our large family. It was in the quiet part of the cottages, which was perfect for relaxing! Would stay here again! We spent a lot of time in the kitchen and on the front porch.

Summary: Well supplied, cute, cozy, great kitchen, roomy living room and bedrooms. All mattresses very soft- more than what we prefer. Had to leave a day early because one bed frame broke.

Summary: It was a very nice stay. Beds were very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Screened in porches were very nice. It was much enjoyed by part of our party. The other part couldn't make it due to a visit by Hurricane Milton and not being able to travel. We will have to plan a future trip for our friends' reunion. The hosts do pay much attention to detail and comfort.

Summary: Overall, we enjoyed the stay and will definitely consider rebooking as our vacation destination. The neighborhood was clean, friendly, and safe with close and easy access down the road to the beach. The house itself was clean, nicely decorated, welcoming, and had most amenities we needed. Take your own dish towels and dishcloths as there were none, but the kitchen was otherwise well equipped for cooking meals. There is tv access to Hulu, but while watching, we were kicked off multiple times while trying to watch movies or programs. We were able to take the kayaks out, but there is some minor maintenance needed as some were missing plugs. Also, the racks where two of Them are kept were too high and difficult to easily access and to put back up. On a brighter note, the beds were comfortable and we would rate our overall stay quite favorably.

Summary: Family members gathered at this cozy cottage ready for fun. We enjoyed the multiple pools and that our cottage had a bathroom for every bedroom. The location was perfect as we were able to enjoy Port St Joe, Mexico Beach and Cape San Blas.

Summary: Lovely home and well kept property. Pool was close and just the perfect spot to relax. Host was most helpful. We enjoyed exploring the Port St. Joe area. Lots of great beaches and restaurants. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Summary: We spent a week there in our family vacation. We went to Mexico beach one day, but went to Cape San Blas the other days. The kids enjoyed it much better than Mexico Beach. The house was nice. If I have anything negative about it, it’s that the internet is slow. But that could just be an area wide issue. Our cell phone service was not that great either. Overall, great place, had fun, loved the matte black silverware set and would really like to know where to get a set! (And all the coffee mugs!)
