Summary: There is no airport shuttle. Take a taxi! The hosts were very nice. Breakfast was average but tasted good. Light in the room was quite dim. There were no towel bars anywhere. To get into the bathroom, you have to squeeze between a large, seemingly mostly empty piece of large furniture and the wall to get past the bathroom door. At night I turned on the light and waited a bit to let the cockroaches scurry for cover before I squeezed into the room. Dogs barked most of the time, starting early and going late. I wasn't shown the switch behind the TV until the last day and thought the remote didn't work.

Summary: For the cheap price you can expect what you get for your money. It is a 20 minutes from the airport which was the reason to stay for the one night with an early departure. The staff were cordial but the one thing they do not tell you is that there is no hot water in the bathroom. That I was a surprise I didn’t expect.

Summary: I loved the room, the place, location, people - everything! So friendly and nice. Aircon, clean comfortable bed, very happy. Supersweet and home’ish place. Great price. So 10/10

Summary: The price/quality ratio is very good. The staff - Mala and Vishnu are very helpful and pleasant and fully replace any more modest accommodation facilities.

Summary: The hotel is very convenient for the early flight (15 minutes bus ride to the airport) and nearby very nice Blue Bay beach (15 minutes bus ride). The owners are very kind.

Summary: Le Bamboo is a very convenient guesthouse. It is locatedin a quiet area but very close to the center, to the bus station, to restaurants and shops. The family that run Le Bamboo is extremely friendly and helpful. They speak both English and French and they are happy to help their customers with everything one can need in Mauritius (preparing dinner, information about transportation, sightseeings, washing, shopping, etc). Also, the guesthouse is very clean and it has modern air conditioning equioment in the rooms.
