Positive: It's a beautiful little hotel perfect for us as we needed a place to stop for the night on our way south. The breakfast is good, you can eat it in the garden. The room was big and modern.

Positive: The rooms look out onto a lovely garden. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The dinner was excellent and well presented. It was good to be able to eat outside in such hot weather. This is our second visit here and we will definitely return.
Negative: It would be good to have a kettle and mugs in the room to make drinks out of hours.

Positive: The hotel is in a busy road but once you’re inside it’s so peaceful. The garden is beautiful and a great place to sit and have a beer. We had a garden room and we loved it- so did our little dog. Very clean, large and comfortable. The staff were efficient. We appreciated the private parking.
Negative: Getting in and out of the gated car park onto a busy road was difficult.

Negative: Not able to get a tea or coffee when we got back to hotel around 9.30. No kettle in room and nowhere to get a hot drink or even hot water to make your own.

Positive: The room was very spacious, there was a space to park our car and it was fine for one night.
Negative: The room got very hot and stuffy at night and we couldn’t open the windows because mosquitoes came in. More hangars and more flat surfaces in the bathroom to put things would have been nice. We wanted to have a tea in the sun in the nice garden after we arrived. We were very rudely told that it is not allowed to consume our own drinks there. It does say it in the house rules, that we only read later on, but I feel that she could have said it in a nicer, less attacking tone. We’re her guests after all..
