Positive: We loved staying here. It was perfect in so many ways. Location was amazing. We've stayed in Hakuba before and struggled because we weren't close to restaurants etc. Being in Echoland meant close to transport to the slopes and close to restaurants and takeaway. You still need to plan for supermarket trips but the hotel has shuttles to the shop you can book into. The hosts were really good with communication.

Negative: The only one issue was that the fold out bed in the lounge room was not super comfortable. It had a bar in the middle and titled to one side. Despite that, we still slept and it wasn't so bad it impacted our trip.

Negative: The only down fall was when you had a shower, heaps of water went on the floor outside the shower and soaked the bath mats.

Positive: Good for a family of four. Everything that you need. Supermarket bus is handy. Easy access to ski resorts.

Negative: Pillows were very hard. We would suggest mattress protectors on beds
