Positive: Beautiful wooded country; lovely gardens and lake; tranquil, peaceful and quiet; wonderful hosts; incredible food: dinner was superb and the breakfast was amazing to behold; a very comfortable room with everything of a high standard. The hosts were attentive, charming, thoughtful and helpful.

Positive: We arrived to a warm welcome and a drink on the terrace. Though our French is not so good, our hosts were wonderfully welcoming. The house is beautiful and positioned by a calm lake surrounded by trees, quiet and tranquil. We had been offered dinner and we are so glad we took it! An incredible meal with 5 courses and restaurant standard with a delicious wine to accompany. Breakfast was a feast with homemade brioche, many jams, hams and cheeses, eggs and even a breakfast dessert of Creme Brulee! :) Our room was typical French country chic with some quirky design touches and an obvious attention to detail. The whole house is a design delight for anyone looking for quintessential French chic. We left feeling as if we had been staying with friends and will definitely come back.
