Positive: Travelled to Manzano as it's close to Udine for the 2025 Super Cup (great game, not the result we wanted). Albero Bianco was a great choice for two people looking for separate rooms and great facilities. Easy to find and only about 25 mins from Trieste Airport by car, the property is next to the church and main square. Parking available with no issues. We were met at the property by the owner, Enrico, who has excellent English (much better than my Italian which is pretty much non-existent). He explained the facilities including breakfast and self-serve coffee. Extremely welcoming and friendly and lives in another part of the property so is available to help with any problems. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms. The showers were clean and very well maintained; shampoo and shower gel is provided and the water was always hot and with good pressure. Both rooms were spotless and well maintained and had aircon – during our visit, there was a heatwave (up to 39°C) so this was very welcome. Plenty of sockets for phone/tablet etc charging. Nets on the windows to help prevent biting insects getting in and wooden shutters to keep the rooms cool when required. Breakfast was provided each day – excellent croissant with a range of jams and self-serve coffee (limited only by how much you can take!). The town is small and quiet – definitely a working town not a tourist one but this makes it better imo as the cafés, bars and restaurants are well priced, friendly and authentic. Near to the property is one of the best gelaterias I've ever been to – three massive scoops from a large range of flavours for (in Aug 25) only €4.50; great value and superb ice cream – highly recommended. There are several bars around that serve food and a couple of restaurants including pizzerias – didn't have time to check them all out but the ones we did were good value with good food.
Negative: Nothing about the property to note or raise an issue with – an excellent stay with a great host; highly recommended. If I could change anything it would be the Super Cup result! #Spursy

Positive: The bed is super comfy. Everything is clean and well put. Good for a solo traveler. I took my dog with me and it was a bit uneasy and noisy since there was work happening close by but he managed to get used to it. Otherwise, it’s couple of stations away from udine which costs 6eur per person for a round trip. Or an hour to trieste by train. The location is calm and has some cool local spots for nice wine and nice pasta.

Positive: Clean, newly renovated and decorated, kitchen with dishwasher for use (shared), electric kettle for tea, and coffee maker, place to eat, view of garden. Heating with air conditioning worked well for bed room. LIDL and other shops not too far away.
Negative: Bit out of the way. Couldn't lock door of my room. Was told I was alone in the house though (that part of the house), but there was suddenly stuff and a phone ringing right in front of my door. Wasn't given keys to the house either. Owner and children outside in garden in front of my back door, I didn't feel I could leave it open once the rain had stopped, but had to draw the curtains early, also didn't figure out how I could go outside bec of mosquito net. No idea where I could have used the garden anyways. One can hear everything from next door & garden, part of the downstairs room is under the stairs, ie when more people in the house, one would hear everything, and it is directly next to ringing church tower. Strange was the parking, I had to insist on parking "on premises", to keep my stuff in the car safe (there's hardly enough space though, and max for 1 guest), after I had to move the car away from in front of the house, but someone else then parked there. At checkout time no sight of owners. Didn't manage to turn heating on in bathroom, and water at sink never got hot, so I didn't try the shower. Just 1 pillow. My vegan breakfast was supposed to cost twice as much as stated on booking. com. Fireplace you see on one photo cannot be used. I arrived in the rain, and nobody openend and I didn't know where to ring, though lady owner then arrived herself. All in all I simply felt like an intruder in their own house. It's probably great for a group of people, who also want to cook together. With me in the downstairs room, it would have been really strange to have strangers eating right in front of my door.
