Positive: The breakfast was great. The staff was kind and courteous. We had safe parking for our car. Short stroll into heart of town. The asylum where Van Gogh was was treated was right up the street (worth it!). They have a nice pool but it was a bit too cool for us to take advantage of. They are in a great location and Saint-Remy is a great village to visit!

Positive: Quiet hotel away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to enjoy. We had a room with a balcony which was fantastic, overlooking the pool. Very friendly staff and handy car parking.
Negative: All was good. Would have loved to have had body lotion provided to soothe sunkissed shoulders but that is all.

Positive: Friendly staff, excellent location and I had a lovely view of the Alpilles from my room. Room was clean and well-presented. I liked the bedside lamps which enabled me to recharge my phone via the usb point, without the need for cumbersome adaptors from UK devices.
Negative: I always like to make tea in my room. I was disappointed that the room did not have a tray of coffee/tea making facilities - unlike other hotels of a similar standard, I stayed at during my stay. As a single traveller- this allows me to retreat to my room and relax with my own tea! For me this would have made the hotel first class and excellent value for money - but I did not give an excellent rating, since this facility was not provided. I would urge the management to re-think this policy- or at least offer this to guests who request it.
