Positive: The owners were very kind, sweet and spoke English fortunately for us quite well. The bathroom was huge, even comfortable seating for two. The window there was able to open for fresh air and you could see your car parked inside the gate. Clever blinds too and double paned insulated windows for insulation. The bedroom was cute and comfortable enough. Wonderful window above the bed to open for fresh air and watch the rain or let in the sun or not shades very clever use of that. Coffee and tea available with a plug in kettle to boil water. The TV was adequate just very high up, and very few English available channels so we adapted. The breakfast was freshly made with different types of bread, croissants, two types of butter numerous jams. Fruit in a big basket huge assortment. And sliced meat and cheese for us two. Very nice for the price.

Negative: The bed was somewhat comfortable, the roof angles low but we knew that in advance. I never hit my head I'm 6'4". Too far out from any train, cab etc... The nearest train station La Louvre is not at all handicap or disability set up. Many stairs and no easy access to any train, more steps, no elevators. Cabs were expensive once we dropped off the rental car. The big issue for us is no free access to the electric gate either the walk through metal gate or the one that opens for guests to leave at our leisure. Many locked doors on the way to the backyard, and where you park your car. You cannot leave without notifying the owners, the same for the front door There is a key pad for the parking area gate, although not offered when asked. Not a fan of restrictive access while on vacation hence the eight out of ten.
