Positive: The property is absolutely beautiful, set in a stunning location with plenty of options to enjoy. Everything was very clean and well maintained. It truly felt like staying in a castle, which made the experience special. The staff at the bar and restaurant were very friendly and welcoming.

Negative: Unfortunately, our toilet was not flushing properly. When we called, we were told it could only be fixed the next day, but we were checking out by then. We had to use a restroom two floors down near reception, which is not what you expect from a hotel of this standard. No alternative solution, such as offering a closer bathroom or a different room, was provided. Additionally, we were excited about an Easter menu that had been shared with us in advance by the hotel chat, but only found out at the restaurant that it would be available the day after our stay. There was no apology or effort to resolve the situation, which felt disappointing. Aside from this, the staff were generally very friendly, except for this particular interaction with the hostess.

Positive: Beautiful chateaux in lovely surroundings short distance from Gouvieux with shops and restaurants Ideal 1st stop on our French route very accommodating to our needs as we were travelling with our pet Labrador ground floor room next to a door straight out to the grounds dog bed and bowls provided Would say here again

Positive: A beautiful property in a quiet area. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Our meals at both the bar restaurant and breakfast were fantastic. Bathrobes and slippers were provided.

Negative: The decor in some of the areas of the chateau was not as cohesive and they did not serve any specialty coffee at breakfast (only nespresso pods).
