Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Perfectly located in the countryside just outside Nérac. The centre of Nerac has its French town charms but just outside you have rolling hills, stunning night Skys, no traffic noise, amble parking and the ability to just walk around the roads and lanes for hours without hassle or seeing many people. 10min drive to the centre for restaurants, bars and shopping. Directly across the road from Annie’s B&B is where the local farmers fete takes place every Friday in summer. Amazing food, drinks, wine, desserts, breads - plus singing music and dancing until the early hours. Great fun and a walk across the road back to bed. Loved the whole experience and would highly recommend staying here for 3-7days. Plenty to explore up to an hour in any direction. Vineyards, amusement parks, castles, river trips, golf, kayaking etc etc…..
Negative: Honestly nothing. I wouldn’t recommend it to wheelchair users as all rooms are on the 1st floor but anyone that can manage large stairs with a grab rail the whole way would be fine. All en-suites are walk in showers.
