Positive: Amazing atmosphere with a very friendly hostess. We felt at home straight away. The neighborhood was amazing with a great view of the local eglise! The room was spacious and very clean. And the beds! Omg the beds were amazing for taller people! We had one of the more comfortable stays through booking. Very much worth the money and your stay! Our dog loved it too! Thanks Agnés

Positive: Couldn't fault this accommodation for what we required on our recent trip to Normandy to visit the D- day landing beaches and museums. We are father and son and found the accommodation roomy, clean, well presented and in a perfect location to visit the places on our itinerary. We enjoyed the peaceful gardens on an evening, watching the beautiful sunset. It was only a short drive to a number of restaurants and a grocery shop. Highly recommended and superb value for money.

Positive: Location : Excellent to explore the WW2 sites if you have car. The premise also has parking space. This lodging locates in a small and quiet quaint town Meuvaines. The room : I have a studio which has full kitchen, utensils, cooking ware, and small fridge. It is a short drive to Bayeux if you want to buy food at supermarket. The room is very quiet in the morning. At nigh it is even quieter. It is clean. The host : I guess this is the off season so there were only one French lady who does not speak English but then you don't really need any communication. In conclusion, if I am coming back, this is the place to stay.

Positive: The property was beautifully furnished and well equipped, it had lovely walks from the property and was only five minutes drive from the Normandy beaches and Arromanche. The hosts were lovely and advised where to eat or shop and even where to fuel our vehicle.

Positive: It was a great location, and if we had had the vintage car as planned, we know it would have been safe. The house is situated in a lovely little village with pretty countryside walks nearby. We were able to do the things we planned. The wifi worked well and there was plenty of hot water. There was a pretty garden.
Negative: The bed was really two beds pushed together so my poor husband felt like he might fall down a crevice at times. Because of the size, the bed was very close to a rough wall on one side and you had to be very careful not to scrape yourself (and I am a small person). We would have liked a more separate shower but it was perfectly adequate for a short stay with a couple. You'd be sharing a lot with friends though... We were surprised there was no salt, pepper or oil as these small basics for a self catering really make a difference. We were told this in advance but I misread it and so we didn't bring them with us. It was anticipated that we clean the place before leaving but there were minimal things to do this. Fortunately, we were very tidy but had we had spillages or greasy food, we would have had trouble.
