Positive: Lovely appartment in a lovely old building, operate by a lovely couple of owners. Thick walls against the heat and the noise - but then the Rue Cocand is a pretty quiet one to begin with. It is roomy, located at 50m from the cathedral in the historic old center of town. The kitchen comes with a good espresso machine - coffee and "madeleine" pastries included! The shower is great even for someone as tall as I am (1.89 m). The bed is a bit high off the ground but very comfortable.

Negative: I can only think of one improvement to make and I mention it only to illustrate just how excellent the appartment is: a shelf for toiletries would be nice to have in the bathroom.

Summary: The best place I've ever stayed away from home.

Positive: It was truly delightful and an exceptional find! Plenty of atmosphere and sympathetically restored. The courtyard was a perfect place to drink a glass of wine and Victoire had some excellent recommendations. We were fortunate to arrive for La fête de la musique in france s d were highly entertained! Victoire was a perfect host too.

Negative: Nothing. It was perfect. The only thing to know is that our apartment was up two flights of stairs but it really didn’t make any difference to us.

Summary: A perfect stay in a delightful town with a charming ambience.
