Positive: Jean Louis was very accommodating. We arrived an hour later than planned owing to a puncture. Nevertheless we were still served a delicious 3 course evening meal, which was very reasonably priced. Our room was charming, located in an outbuilding in the peaceful courtyard. It was well equipped and very comfortable. The next morning we were served a lovely breakfast in the courtyard and set off for Calais. This B&B is ideal for a last night stop on the way to Calais. We would certainly stay there again.

Negative: We really cannot think of anything that would have improved our opinion.

Summary: Charming, peaceful, comfortable and welcoming B&B.

Positive: Small apartment converted from an outbuilding in a very rural setting. Quirky but clean and functional. Friendly welcome. We had evening meal that was basic but pleasant. Breakfast, as with dinner, served in room and of decent quality.

Negative: I must admit not to like room service food only. In some ways I find it an intrusion but the owner was very pleasant and his politeness cannot be faulted.

Positive: Our host was fantastic! Breakfast superb. Yoghurt, freshly prepared fruit, pastries, flan all brought into our room at our choice of time. Delicious home-made jams by Jean Louis' 90 year old Mum. The radiators worked well and made the room nice and cosy. The bathroom was only finished being fitted the night before we arrived.

Negative: The toilet was wobbly, which felt unsafe, bearing in mind I have two dodgy knees. I think it was just overlooked from completing the bathroom the night before. I mentioned it to Jean Louis in the morning. Were were made to feel very welcome. Jean Louis' Mum was in the window of her house waving goodbye to us when we left.
