Positive: Veronique was a great host, she was welcoming and promptly responded to any requests we had about the property. While her garage was available, we had no difficulty parking in front of the property. The kitchen is well-equipped with all essential appliances. The location is within short walks to a grocery store, the Grand Place and Place des Heros.

Positive: Location was perfect as it was not in the middle of town but was only just outside. Could walk to main square for restaurants in 10 minutes or less. Having a small car enabled us to park in the private garage which was super convenient.

Positive: This place is delightful.The host was incredibly helpful. I felt at home here .Even an umbrella,torch and shopping bags were at the property. It is about 10 minutes walk from a big supermarket ,which makes it great for preparing meals.

Positive: What a great place to stay. Located barely 5 minutes from the centre of Arras and a really lovely place. Veronique uses the flat for her family to stay when they are in town so it is fully equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The flat is accessed through the pedestrian door into the garage. The ground floor houses the kitchen and dining area. Upstairs to the big lounge, bedroom, toilet and shower bathroom. All tastefully decorated and so comfortable and clean and tons of very hot water. You can park in the garage but anything much bigger than an X1 will be a real squeeze so it's on-street parking. There is a very good sized Carrefour just a few hundred yards away (very well stocked but no pasteurised milk, that's only available in the mega stores from what we found). Cooking in the kitchen is dead easy, being so well equipped. Arras is fantastic, 40+ restaurants etc around the two main squares plus a bunch of others down the side streets, so you won't go hungry, but go early on a nice evening as they soon get packed out. Lots to look at, plenty of WW1 history including Faubourg cemetery (and the adjacent Citadel), handily placed for getting down to Thiepval for the museum covering the 1916 Battle of the Somme. Make sure you go to Vimy Ridge, Lens 14-18 museum and Notre Dame de Lorette. It's an easy enough day trip to Ypres and Passendale. You really can't go wrong staying here.
