Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in this spacious and comfortable house which enjoys spectacular views over the bay of Le Lavandou. The house is well equipped and has two large terraces on which to relax and enjoy the sunshine. A short walk takes you down into the centre of Le Lavandou (but beware the return journey is steep!). The only little niggles were that no bedlinen was provided, information was a little lacking and we had to post the keys back at the end of our stay (10 euros). All in all, though, we had a great time and would thoroughly recommend this property which represents excellent value for money.

Summary: The view over Le Lavandou and the sea is superb, it was lovely to look over the bay from the bathroom. We stayed in winter and the house was very warm with programmable heaters. The house is well furnished with high quality fittings and original oil paintings including two electric recliners, a large screen TV, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and has a washer dryer which is very useful in cold weather. The kitchen had a lot of useful utensils for preparing food. The beds were large and comfortable and you can raise the backs electrically. There is no traffic going by as this is a private gated development. Raymond the owner gave very detailed instructions on getting to the house and answered our questions very helpfully. Le Lavandou is a good base for accessing the coast east along to Cavaliere-sur-Mer and to Toulon in the west. Points to note: the house is the lower ‚step‘ to another house up the hill, we heard no noise from this other house. The staircase might be difficult for someone with limited mobility.

Summary: Initial contact with the owner was very simple and he was very responsive. Upon our arrival, the house was spotless and we were immediately taken by the view. Whatever room you are in, even in the shower, you can take advantage of that fabulous view which hypnotized us right away. The house is in a gated community, so no through traffic, which we greatly appreciated. The kitchen is very well appointed, you could probably cook a six course meal in there. We can highly recommend this property .

Summary: A very relaxing place to stay with great views. The property was well equipped & very clean, although you do need to bring your own linen. It is close (few minutes walk) to Le Lavandou town and beaches but it is a very steep walk home uphill! Worth it for the views though. Prior to, and during our stay, the owner was very helpful & easy to communicate with. When the keys didn’t arrive before we left for our holiday, the owner was great & made alternative arrangements for us to access the property. Overall, a lovely place to stay in Le Lavandou and a great base to explore the beaches, vineyards and villages in the area.
