A cozy two storey Acadian Home located in Surette's Island, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. It has a fully equipped RETRO kitchen, two bedroom downstairs, a bathroom, tv room, a reading room, washer and dryer and satellite TV. This home is all furnished, along with linens , bedding, internet accessible, dvd`s and BBQ. The second storey has three bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. It is only 25 minutes from our quaint little town of Yarmouth.
From the verenda, enjoy a relaxing evening viewing the Tusket River across the road from our property. You could also take a short 7 minute drive to the wharf at the end of the island and view the lobster fishing boats, or the locals that go rockweeding from June to October. In Yarmouth you can see the Cape Forchu Lighthouse,fishing boats, museums,shopping,etc. Visit the oldest Court House and Goal( Jail) in Canada situated in the village of Tusket. Also you will find picturesque landscape the area has to offer, Village Historique (Acadian Village) and the windmills in Pubnico or go to Wedgeport and visit the famous Tuna Museum.Lots to see and enjoy!!

Summary: This home is immaculate and decorated in so many beautiful ways, there are small touches in every room. The kitchen is retro, so much fun! Both bathrooms were very clean and had all the towels we could possibly need. Bedrooms are comfortable with lots of crisp bedding and clean pillows. We enjoyed our time exploring the Yarmouth region knowing we had this lovely home where we could stay. Highly recommend this sweet spot!

Summary: This experience was the epitome of Nova Scotia culture. The house was filled with personal history while still being welcoming. The front porch was lovely with beautiful views of the sunrise and water. Only 30 minutes from Yarmouth, it was close enough to stores that we did not have to go far to get anything we needed. Guy and Patsy were so welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed.

Summary: This lovely home is such a welcoming and comfortable property to recuperate from your daily excursions or to just sit and relax to enjoy the beautiful surroundings . It is extremely clean, well furnished with all the necessary items but also expertly decorated to provide a warm welcoming and homey environment. The hosts are kind, thoughtful and readily available if you need . A most perfect get away in all respects.

Summary: What a wonderful and charming place to stay! We absolutely loved our time staying with Patsy and Guy who made us feel ever so welcome. The kitchen was extremely well set up with all the amenities of home if you like to cook your own food. The main floor beds were very comfortable and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Summary: This vacation home was everything it was advertised to be and then some! It was spotless and perfectly darling! The owner, Guy, lives next door and came over to greet us and give us some history of the home and tips for places to see. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience! Very unique area and although it is 'off the beaten path', it's worth the drive!! Lovely, lovely, property!

Summary: This is our 3rd time at this lovely, clean rental home on beautiful Surette’s Island. This home has all the necessities plus some. It is super clean and comfortable. The only issue we had this visit was with the mosquitos which made it impossible to use any of the beautiful yard. Thank you Patsy and Guy.
