Positive: The property was in the heart of the old town close to the harbour and all the restaurants, it had a good sized balcony and air con was good.
Negative: The stairs to property were narrow and steep, the toaster and hairdryer didn’t work but when informed about it the staff replaced both but never got toaster till last day . No shade on balcony which gets the sun from around 11am and in August with temperatures reaching 36 degrees made it unusable till around 5ish , there was a framework for awning but material was missing.
Summary: We had a pleasant 4 day stay in Marseille the apartment was clean and presentable. Don’t think I would visit again due t

Positive: The flat was in a good location to get to the centre of the city.
Negative: It's an old flat so we had some issues due to that, for example we put on the oven and the toaster at the se time and the power went off. The flat has two smoker detectors but they go on if the oven is on. So to use the oven and prevent the smoker detector from going on again we needed to cook with all the windows open, it was 13 degrees and not really pleasant. We didn't really find easy and professional the communication with the hosts. The owner send you a link of an online platform where you need to do a lot of procedures, check in, check out etc and it's really slow and unpractical. They gave us a number of a manager too but on the first day was slow in answering. The check in of the flat is at 15, if you want to enter starting from 12h it's 42 euros. It's true that we asked that on the same day but they sent us a message that we could enter at 12:40 and they made us pay the full price. A part from this I had to write them to ask the procedure to enter, not the other way around. The apartment is not well furnished in our opinion. In other apartments we have rented in booking we found the kitchen was organised even full with oil and cooking basics and toilet with cleaning products, hear there was one soap and toilet paper, nothing else. Moreover, there is a bathtub in the apartment but they don't give the towel/rug for the shower, so it was pretty uncomfortable. The Bathtub is pictured in the pics as a jacuzzi but is a one size normal Bathtub. Finally, in the pictures it looks like the terrace has seaside view but it's not like this. From the terrace you can only see buildings and from the upper window some sea. To be honest for the price and the ranking I would have expected a better staying/infrastructure.
