Positive: A beautiful apartment located in the French countryside with a very large amount of attractions in the vincinity both French cultural and historical and D-day related. The apartment itself is built in an old building which gives the apartment a very nice and cozy look. You also have access to a small pool and heated jacuzzi, very nice to lie down in after a day of tourism. These baths are clean and well maintaned. The host was very accomodating and gave information about things to do in the area, he also gave us a bottle of calvados which he made himself, it was very good.
Negative: Some of the furniture in the apartment is old and not super comfortable.

Positive: Good location to the British beaches and a very quiet village. The hot tub and little pool were very nice.
Negative: Some of the furniture was very rustic and unfortunately the washing machine wasn't plumbed in and a little clothes line would have been nice.

Positive: Nice rural location but close enough to the places we wanted to visit. Hot tub was a lovely bonus
Negative: The kitchen/lounge area was quite dark, but it's an old property so not much can be done about that. This areas decor was also a bit dated & tired. The beds whilst comfortable had really rough sheets which was a bit of a surprise.

Positive: Comfy bed, lovely outside area, nicely refurbished charming building full of character. Very clean. Peaceful location.
Negative: We hadnt realised the lower floor of the apartment was not straight out onto the garden area but actually up a flight of stairs. The boiler, situated in the bathroom, was rather noisy.

Positive: The house was excellent. We were travelling with two adults and four children. The property was very spacious for us and equipped with everything you need for a stay of several days. Unfortunately, we could only stay there for one night. The large garden with pool and swings was something the children could not miss. The spacious living room with attached kitchen was perfect for a leisurely breakfast after we visited the nearby seaside grocery shop (15 minutes away by car).
Negative: One drawback was the lack of air conditioning, which made it quite warm in the bedrooms after a very hot day (the outside temperature was over 30 degrees during the day).
Summary: I would like to visit the place once more in the future for a longer stay!
