Positive: Very nice and comfy apartment, we really enjoyed it a lot, specially with this nice terrasse under the sun with a view on the city and the train station. Patrice is a very nice and easy to communicate with. It's kind of easy to go to the center by walking 15 minutes. We could not enjoy the outdoor swimming-pool beginning of April. Everything you need for daily living is provided – cleaning products, coffee, and other basics...
Negative: The explanations to get the keys could look complex but it was easy to go & park close to the train station and get the keys from a pub. I did not understand before booking that we had to park in the street which is ok except to unload the car. There is a bit of noise from the train during the evening ans night but I am not sensitive to this so we slept well !

Positive: Very homely, well decorated, quite spacious flat. We were very comfortable here for five nights. Nice balcony with table and chairs to sit out. No aircon but fans supplied which was fine. Good size shower room with separate toilet and everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and a handy dining table. The pool is a good size, very clean and wasnt busy at all. Walking to the city centre takes about 20-25 mins. It's uphill on the way back. Good value for money. Keys need to be picked up from the tabaconists near the station and returned there.
Negative: The closeness to the train station meant it was quite loud when trains went by but we got used to it. Had to close windows at night. Be nice to have more hangers and drawer space in the front bedroom and dishwashing tablets and washing up liquid and a toilet roll holder. No lock on bathroom door. There's no chairs provided for the pool (concrete bench only). Access to the pool was a bit confusing. Although there are locks on the gate you need to use the fob on the electronic lock on the right. I saw other people struggling with opening it so it wasn't just me)! Doesn't seem to be any public transport to the town centre, so it's either walking or Uber.

Positive: Really lovely little apartment, clean and comfortable with everything you might need. Very spacious and comfy beds, and blackout blinds in rooms. Pool was lovely and good views off balcony over train station and part of Poitiers.
Negative: Not really a problem but two things to be Aware of - 1) it is closed to train station so you can hear trains late at night and early morning, we had ear plugs so were fine! 2) you pick the keys up in a different location to the apartment, which wasn't a problem for us as we were driving but might be more difficult for those arriving without own transport.

Positive: The apartment is very spacious with a lovely big terrace. The beds are clean and comfortable. The shower is excellent. Although the railway line is closeby, with the shutters closed, the noise is not too disturbing. The host was responsive to a couple of issues we had on arrival.
Negative: There is no air conditioning although it is advertised as having it. I have taken this issue up with Booking.com as host advised it is their error. There are two fans in the bedrooms. If you are arriving at the station in Poitiers and walking to the apartment beware there are 166 steps from the road level to reach it. There is an alternative route by a road but again it's steep. I recommend the number 1 or 11 bus from Gare Viaduct. Ride one stop and get off at Les Rocs. The apartment is then easier to reach on foot.
