Positive: We liked the location as it was an easy to walk from the train station and to the port.
Negative: We do not speak French nor can we read French. However, we are global travelers from the US. It is not very often when a property owner isn’t present to assist the client in meeting them at the location upon arrival. We tried desperately to contact the owner by text, phone & email to no avail. After many attempts the property owner was unresponsive and we began to think we’d been duped and feared we had a fraudulent situation beyond our control. Luckily there was a very nice tenant renting in the same building as the Rooftop apartment. She was able to speak English and helped us find the location of the business where the key pick up was located. Even though this address for this was on the booking communication we had with the owner, we could not find it on our own. It would have been helpful to know the name of the location was Carrefour City grocery store down the street & around the corner from the property. We have never been to Marseille and it would have been nice if the owner published a WhatsApp contact number so we could have at least communicated with them about our reservation. In closing, the apartment could have been cleaner and the bedding was undesirable with very uncomfortable pillows. Other than that, we did like the apartment and hope our comments will be helpful with the suggested improvements. It would make a much better experience for the next client.

Positive: Key pickup was relatively seemless from local supermarket. Rooftop terrace views.
Negative: Given we drove to Marseille, the collection of keys location was a little challenging for parking - this might be better ovetcome by making suggestion on hpw to accomplish easier when driving. Understanding the various key fobs and the different buildings they apply to , could do with explanation. Also as a pedestrian. leaving the building once parked needs explanation pictorial. Was all worked out but was a little frustrating to start with!

Negative: The street is not the best of Marseille, but was completely fine and we didn’t have any issue. The wifi didn’t work at all, for 2 days we could manage without, but longer stay needs to be fixed.
