Positive: Aliona the host/owner was in contact prior to our arrival and her husband very kindly picked us up from the train station. The apartment is beautiful and very well maintained and has everything you need. Aliona had stocked the fridge with cold meats/eggs/wine, which was a lovely touch. The pool was very welcome and was very relaxing. We walked into town and planned to get a taxi back, but discovered there are no taxis on a Sunday eve. We contacted Aliona and her husband very kindly picked us up. He speaks very little English, but had a number of conversations with my husband via Google translate. They are a lovely couple who really care about their guests and clearly live their apartment.
Negative: Location - it’s a 45 min walk into Lecco. There is a bus, but we were not organised enough to buy the tickets in advance from the shop, that closes over lunch, when we wanted to get the bus. We were only there for 2 nights (one day). If we were there longer the bus would have worked

Positive: The host was incredibly welcoming and considerate. As other reviews have mentioned, the accommodation was generously stocked with food, so we didn't even need to buy breakfast. When we wanted to have dinner out, the host, her husband, and their daughter took us to an amazing pizzeria and helped us order! Her husband made a great effort to communicate with us using Google Translate and suggested that we visit the Christmas market in Lecco, which we greatly appreciated. Although we arrived late, we were able to get the key without any issues thanks to her daughter! Lastly, the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience.
Negative: Honestly, there were no real downsides. If I were to be extremely picky, the location was a bit further from our planned route along Lake Como, but that was a result of our own choice. Initially, the address was a little confusing, but their friendly and prompt communication made it a non-issue.

Positive: Our hostess Aliona was exceptional, friendly, generous and yet only seen when we needed her. The location was perfect and exactly as depicted in the listing, with great views and central to where we wanted to go. It was a great place to come home to at the end of a day of sightseeing and to have dinner in a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and got a great night’s sleep. Free public parking was close by and made it convenient for us as we travelled there by car. It was also great value for money. I would highly recommend this place and would stay again when we come back.
