Summary: The hotel is in a good location and the bedroom was large. The pool was clean but very cold but probably just the time of year. The sheets on the beds were dirty when we arrived with hair underneath the pillows. They were changed after we requested it at the recpetion. The pillows were solid blocks and the mattress was incredibly firm. The decorative pillows were covered in stains and the spare pillows in the wardrobe had no pillow case and were covered in stains. There was a nasty mould smell in the reception area and the bedroom itself. The toilet was covered in cobwebs and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly for a while. One of the towels we were given was stained with what looked blood. Overall it was not a nice stay and it's a shame as the location in the town is great and it feels like some investment is needed in some basics to make this a really nice hotel again
