Summary: Massimo was courtesy, welcoming and very helpful to my trip at Palermo. The room was clean and tidy. It was just a few minutes walk to the market. I really enjoyed a good stay here. I would certainly recommend this!

Summary: LOTS of stairs. No elevator so be mindful when booking because you will have to carry your suitcase up flights and flights of stairs. Would not recommend if you have mobility issues. It is quite noisy at night so be mindful of that as well. It’s more of a shared space with the chairs being the “relaxing” area and the rooms being right across from each other. They do provide earplugs but you will still hear some of the noise from the street below which is filled with vendors and restaurants. The stop for the shuttle bus to the airport is near by (a two minute walk) so that was very convenient. Self check in was pretty easy, aside from walking up the stairs in the pitch dark. There is a switch on the wall around the second flight of stairs, but we discovered that on our own. The room did have a couple dents in the wall and some browning on the wall in the washroom, so a little wear and tear. But overall the wood ceiling is beautiful and the washroom was nice.

Summary: Newly renovated place situated in the middle of Palermo’s old town. Great service and recommendations from the hosts. Old reviews mention noisy environment, but we were not disturbed at all despite the place being located in a lively alley (sound proofing was great when closing the balcony doors and the rooms have air conditioning).

Summary: Ideal location for the centre and port. Minutes from Piazza Domenico where you have breakfast. Served with locals, bread meat /cheese, coffee and orange juice. Double room at the top of a long flight of stairs, beware there is no lift! Communal sitting area with coffee machine, microwave and balcony. Room was clean but unfortunately didn't have a balcony outside, instead it had an internal balcony overlooking the communal area?? The room had sky lights. Double bed, shower area, fridge and kettle. Can be noisy at night, the locals do like to play music. Met by the rep Annabel on arrival, friendly and helpful. Explained the security for the apartment and provided a list of local restaurants to consider. We used three, all very good. Suggest when visiting to use the airport bus, 6 euros each way and stops mintues from Le Stanza.

Summary: The property was excellent, newly renovated and very clean. It was very well located, walk distance to the city centre and means of transports. The only thing that there were a lot of steps to get to the apartment, there wasn't any lift. It was hard after a long day of walk. Any way, we were very happy to spend our holidays in such a nice property :-)
