Positive: Very kind and helpful staff. The evening meal was included in the price

Negative: It's a very strange place, based on an old Chateau but painted (perhaps by someone smoking strong cigarettes) in pink, blue and yellow. The internet didn't make it to our room. The minibar was empty ! Although the evening meal (good) was included in the price I found it rather expensive.

Positive: Beautiful location, amazing room, spotless clean and so Quirky. Exactly what we were looking for. The hotel reception staff and cleaning team were extremely helpful and did everything to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay.

Negative: The air conditioning wasn’t very effective. Some of the restaurant staff were quite difficult/awkward and this seemed intentional. Granted my grasp of the local language could be better so perhaps this was the problem.

Summary: Amazing location, fantastic part of France. Beautiful and quirky hotel.

Negative: the rectangular shower head is impractical. a round one would be better. The rooms were overheated and I had to open the windows despite the freezing temperature outside
