Positive: The apartment has a breathtaking view over Lake Como. It’s surrounded by nature, very quiet and clean. The layout of the apartment is nice. The host provided clear instructions on how to find the place and check in. We also really appreciated the cool amenities available around the residence area, which added to the experience.

Negative: On the downside, the beds were quite hard and not very comfortable. Only one roll of toilet paper and one general garbage bag were provided for four people staying two nights, which wasn’t ideal. Communication with the host was a bit strange at first they insisted on knowing the breed of our dog, which felt unnecessary. Later, when we asked for more toilet paper, we didn’t receive any response. The private residence where the villa is located also has a lot of strict rules, and unfortunately, some of the residents weren’t very welcoming. Overall, it’s a beautiful and peaceful place with amazing views, but the comfort level, communication, and atmosphere in the residence could be improved.

Positive: The view was excellent, up on the hill it was cool at night for sleeping. The accommodation was comfortable. The kitchen was well fitted out. The host was very responsive and communication was excellent. The TV had good music channels which we would play. The TV could do with some English speaking channels, like BBC World or CNN.

Negative: No sunbeds, so you had to sunbath on the grass. The other residents were not welcoming, especially the older residents, they would look at you with distain, especially when your children were playing in the pool or if you were sunbathing on the grass.

Summary: All the family really enjoyed it.

Positive: Very nice location ( on the mountain will gorgeous view) and great facilities (pool, tennis, basketball etc). The apartment was great, nice and modern with kitchen. A few nice touches (tennis rackets, biscuits, towels were very nice). Dining areas inside and out were great and washing machine is big plus.

Negative: Google maps leads you to wrong place (a dead end) host needs to correct the location instructions as both our parties got lost trying to find it. Check in was fine good communication from host and the apartment & surroundings is very nice- but there is no air con and the Wi-Fi is very bad, it barely worked at all. If they can sort out those 3 things it would be 10/10.

Positive: Amazing view and a beautifully decorated place! The kitchen is fully stocked. The couch is very comfortable.

Negative: Both beds are too hard. The last stretch of mountain road to the house is quite narrow to drive.
