Positive: NGO run hotel with a great staff, especially the hotel manager who went out of her way to assist every guest. Right on the river walk so easy to stroll along the Mekong. Staff will assist in planning tours of local sights and making travel arrangements elsewhere. Also has a good restaurant right in the hotel. Would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Negative: The only small improvement that could be made is privacy curtains around the bunk beds. The wifi was a little weak in the furthest away rooms but good in the common areas

Positive: Good location on the river front which enabled us to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets on the Mekong. Just by the ferry to Koah Trong. The room was comfortable and was accessible through a set of very steep steps. The staff was very attentive and we much enjoyed our stay.

Negative: The hotel needed a bit of attention and for examples some of the floor tiles were missing. But right price for the level of property.

Summary: Great location but a bit dated in some areas

Positive: It’s a short walk to the ferry to Kaoh Trong island and it’s wonderful cycling. And an easy tuk-tuk ride to the Phnom Sambok temple and the dolphins. Rooms are big and cool. The shared balconies have great views. The staff are charming and eager to please.

Negative: It’s not the hotel’s fault but there’s a ‘bird’s nest soup’ building next door that broadcasts amplified bird noise from 5.00 to 21.00. The noise is annoying and distracting.

Summary: Good base to see the dolphins.

Positive: The staff were fantastic and so friendly, they couldn't do enough for us. The location is really good overlooking the river and near restaurants and bars, also a few minutes walk from the ferry to Koh Trong. The food was good, we especially enjoyed breakfast!

Negative: The stairs were tricky, very tricky with cases and there's nowhere to hang or even just put anything in the room, but otherwise we had a good stay here.

Positive: I had a delightful stay at this hotel. I really like the town itself and the location of the hotel on the waterfront. It is very modestly priced yet the rooms are large and the bed is comfortable. The manager spoke excellent English and was able to help me organize a tour and was informative about the town and it’s history. Honestly, you couldn’t ask for better.
