Summary: What a REAL gem! I mean it. I’ve been paying Marriott prices and this place is slightly less but the luxury and convenience is beyond words. The founder David Chow spared no expense building and maintaining this spectacular hotel. If you’re in the area just walk in and check it out. The rooms are just as if not better with high ceilings. Soaking super clean bathtub and spacious bathroom. The bedroom is so quiet, clean and beautiful you can’t wait to come back after a stroll around Beijing. Trust me. It’s worth a stay in this majestic city.

Summary: Loved this hotel. Even though it's showing signs of its age, there were some cracks in the wall, which had been repaired, but were still very prominent. You can feel the colonial inspiration and ghosts of that Chinese past. Staff were excellent and always around for help. Loved the room and feel of the hotel. Super convenient to good food and transportation. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
