Positive: Legends is a hotel that should be able to deliver a positive experience, but it doesn't. Starting with the fact that they automatically and immediately take full payment for a room with free cancellation as soon as you book. It already feels a bit hostile. The staff are disempowered (they do not have the ability to even properly answer your questions) by a range of policies that start off by treating you like you are a problem. They don't take cash, you can't use multiple credit cards (say for example to split a bill or pay for something with a debit rather than a credit card), The beach chairs are in poor condition and short supply. No one seems to be able to help you with them. Beach towels are not provided; the beach staff suggest you just use the towels from your room. The food is not great. We sent back our daiquiris because they appeared to have been made without rum. I reported a leaky faucet to the housekeeper as I was leaving to go to the beach and she asked if I really needed her to clean my room. ;[ The bed was a trip hazard and the bedside lights were oddly far away from the bed. The bedspread was ... moist... There's more, but I think the picture is clear enough: shabby facilities, indifferent staff (though some were friendly), strange but rigidly enforced policies... There are many better places to stay in Negril and I am sorry that I didn't choose more wisely.

Positive: Great location. Most staff were very friendly which is typical of Jamaica. Both pools were nice and well kept grounds. Good drinks and food was not bad
Negative: Very little by way of explanation about how the all inclusive package works-figure it out for yourself was the vibe we got. The beds are awful. We didn’t get a good nights sleep the entire stay. Housekeeping never quite got the linens figured out. For 4 people sometimes we got four towels but sometimes only three. Wash clothes were very random and not once was there a hand towel for in the bathroom.
Summary: Take the good with the bad but it is unlikely we would stay again

Positive: Beachfront but be sure to not book garden side across street but it’s not bad just a very bad garbage stitch at entrance but you only smell it walking thru n the road is busy to cross but it’s not that serious n the gaurd will help if he sees you. The location is great if u want to be walking distance to majority of things but it has a downside too. We were the first room on garden side 601 n we never slept. The noise from the club never stopped till 3/4 in morning n we wanted rest so if u wanna party n can sleep thru music so loud u can feel the vibes literally perfect place. The garden side pool is nice clean n private. We didn’t dine. Beach chairs are free but if u not up at dawn you won’t get one. Everyone was pleasant enough. Not rude but not ecstatic to see you either but I thinks it’s just the carefree Jamaican vibes not rude tho. We did buy a fridge $12 a day for me it was worth it. Shower pressure was really really good n water almost scolding. Be careful but I’ll never complain about hot water out the country. Housekeeping came regularly. Always a taxi n late night jerk available roadside right by you!
Negative: Local taxes are not charged till you get there n extra from this booking. A roach was in our room but it’s the garden side we just screamed a little then killed it nothing that serious majority of these places are older beach type motels it’s to be expected but the price is good so. Ants in bathroom because window is an open air concept again nothing major n didn’t go further than bathroom. Overall it was clean. Garbage stinch was gross but only last when u walk in/out if gate
