Summary: Overall brilliant - perfect for kids and very approachable staff. The check in was very quick and technology based( it was self service which was neither good nor bad). We got to the lodge and settled in with no problem, opting for showers however we realised the shower design means that any water splashing off you from the waterfall shower meant it soaked the floor outside the shower, luckily we had a bath mat but that was soaked after 3 showers. We made our way to the restaurant and the vibe we got straight away was Butlins vibe with kids entertainment put on etc. Food was very overpriced, a burger was £21 for adults and a kids 2 course meal was £23( we heard another family ask how much the single course kids meal was and they were shocked when staff said its £17). I dont consider that a family friendly price after paying upwards of £200 for the night stay. The food was beafeater quality rather than over £100 for 3 drinks 3 meals quality. The lodges are situated around some play parks which in principal are great as it means kids can play while parents can relax on the front porch. What actually happens is kids play until late hours( we went to sleep at 9:30 and they were still outside) and be generally loud. That however is something i would argue is our fault for going to a kids resort rather than kids being noisy. Generally positive but does need to reflect on their pricing and designs of bathrooms.

Summary: Beautiful hotel, lots of Lego details, very well looked after, room service super quick. Activities for the children in the room and generous gift. I loved it. I live in London and I don’t need to stay there but I will again just because I loved it. And they have a splash pool as well!

Summary: Don’t book this hotel on Hotels or Expedia. You will not get free tickets to the theme parks. It’s disappointing You only get them if you book directly from the website

Summary: The stay itself was amazing, we didn’t know that we where not booked at the main hotel rather than the new side which wouldn’t be ideal to get to if you don’t drive as they don’t tell you how far it is, the cleaners came in the morning but didn’t empty the bins, we just got new towels and the bed was made, but the rubbish was not taken out or the empty boxes in the room which was a bit of a let down.

Summary: There are loads of things to love about this hotel but the rooms aren’t one of them. They are pretty old and tired. The lift situation is chaotic as there aren’t enough of them and lots of people checking in with kids and luggage. The resort overall is pretty cool. The pool was fun (a bit small),

Summary: 1) standard check in time is 4pm. "Early" check in is a beautiful £40 surcharge so factor this in for anyone booking with kids/luggage 2) charged my wife for a day pass ticket £96 for our son who turned 5 the morning of arrival despite having bought an adult + 1 preschooler ticket package

Summary: Incredible for the little ones, amenities within the room were fantastic. They absolutely loved the treasure hunt. The room was decorated amazingly and was extremely clean. Just a good score with regard to the adults though, I would have liked to have some biscuits as part of the coffee-tea area as there was nothing with our brew after sitting down a long day. Milk is only just enough for one coffee or tea. Coffee machine made luke warm coffees. Headboard is rock hard would be more comfortable with a softer one.

Summary: Lovely stay at the Woodland Lodges, quite unexpected actually so thought I’d write a review. Staff were super attentive, the breakfast was great and the property and areas (mostly*) were exceptionally clean. *Mostly because there was a dog poo near the reception the whole time we were there that I had to keep reminding the kids to avoid. A fantastic stay though! Worth noting as it’s so close to Heathrow planes overhead are a permanent feature, through the night too, but it didn’t bother me.
