Positive: The apartment was conveniently located in centre of city and easily found. Nice cosy rooms with huge Terrasse, bathroom was cleaned and bed was comfortable. Nice lobby with some sort of grand old fashioned decor, staff were very friendly with excellent service. Definitely will come back.

Positive: Great position, great rooms, free parking in front of door. Room really nice and confortable and quite. Great support from owner to get keys late in the night and to find place and for everything needed.
Negative: Everything the best, nothing bad!!!

Positive: Leier Apartments is in an excellent location apart from the Casino below, which feels like a bit of a security risk. Weird combination. Fortunately the Casino is relatively quiet. Lenka the desk clerk/housekeeper is very nice. The building is historic with high ceilings, non-standard room shapes and large windows. Careful while booking though: the suite with a terrace is called an apartment it does not have a kitchen. Some of the other suites do have kitchens. There is good parking available right below the apartments which makes life easier in the center of Piestany.
Negative: The wifi is truly terrible outside of the lobby area. Plan for no wifi, i.e. bring your own internet. The walls are also paper thin in some directions. So there is not much privacy. We had some communication difficulties as the apartments owner is in Prague and splits communication duties with her on-site desk clerk. The apartment owner seems sometimes unfriendly and unhelpful, while Lenka does everything she can to make travellers' stays better. ___ Addendum: As one can see from the tone of the owners' reply, the situation is quite contradictory at Leier Apartments. 1. The warning about the wifi was not very prominent if it existed. 2. The owner was not at all helpful and tried to take advantage of travellers in distress at the end of our stay. Lenka on-site did do her best to help us. 3. If you are thinking of staying at Leier Apartments, you should check carefully about whether the new wifi works (more recent reviews, it will be powerline which can be great and can be mediocre). Also keep in mind the issue with privacy with neighbouring apartments. It's not that the whole building has thin walls, it's just between the two apartments which are close by. It could be quite awkward to have an apartment next to your in-laws for example, as they will hear everything. All that said, the location is great, the view from the windows as my photos show is wonderful. Some of the apartments do have good kitchens.
