Positive: The location on a farm outside of Bayeux was lovely —really picturesque with beautiful gardens. Our hostess was wonderful — accommodating, helpful, friendly. The drive was easy to Bayeux and we were able to go daily.
Negative: We loved the look and feel of our guest cottage. It was a bit damp feeling inside which may have been due to the weather and the age of the house. It was well-equipped and charming but there was a mustiness present.
Summary: Lovely stay in a Normandy farmhouse.

Positive: This beautiful farmhouse was the perfect place for our family of 5 to explore Normandy and provided us with plenty of space to relax. The setting is peaceful and secluded, but only 10 minutes away from Bayeux. Rebecca is lovely and met us to give us the keys, explain features of the property, and gifted us a delicious bottle of cider. The house is gorgeous, spacious, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed exploring WWII sites, Bayeux, and Mont St. Michel during the day and relaxing with dinner and family bonding time at home in the evenings. We had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesistate to book this property again!
Negative: Nothing...the house and property are amazing.

Positive: The location was absolutely perfect for our purposes and it was easy to find. The property is a small cottage or gite and has been amazingly well converted from its previous use and is in perfect surroundings. The owner lived on site but was not intrusive; instead she was lovely and approachable - answering our many questions patiently.
Negative: The staircase up to the two bedrooms was very steep and the toilet was downstairs - both of which are unavoidable when working with a limited space. Unfortunately, we had an 86 year old with us so overnight trips to the loo were a bit fraught. This wouldn't prevent us from going again, but we probably wouldn't return if we had the father in law with us.
