Positive: Great location for stunning views over the lake.
Negative: It’s quite a walk away from the town which wouldnt ordinarily bother us but we had aging large breed dog with us so it was hard (exhausting!) to both fill our days and be fair to the pooch. Also despite promoting themselves as pet friendly we were disappointed to not be able to eat with our dog other than breakfast on the terrace. We would have been very happy to have dinner on the terrace but they wouldnt accommodate this so we had to have room service - or choose to eat elsewhere. Driving into annecy wasn’t an option as parking is very difficult to get. We also thought there might helpful books regarding what to do and how to get there but we didn’t find this either. Whilst this not the most expensive hotel one could choose in the area, , it was one of the more elaborate ones we have chosen on our road trip so we were left a bit disappointed.
Summary: It is a beautiful location and if you’re ’in season’ I’m sure it will be an amazing experience. But for us with the poo

Positive: We were lucky to get a massive upgrade to a beautiful room with a terrace and a big bathroom on the lake side!!!!! So nice. Gorgeous views of the lake. Also the room had aircon easy to use and was so quiet. The staff were soooo lovely every single one. The food was nice too. Nice inside decor for the whole hotel.
Negative: I didn’t like the spa it had a rickety ladder into the inside pool, the outside pool was still covered. The floor was extremely slippery and I found getting off the day beds so hard my daughter had to help. It was a very small spa but were charging 20euros per person per hour including for children. It’s a shame because the hotel was amazing. The staff were lovely though and went out of their way to accommodate our needs.
Summary: Beautiful hotel with the loveliest staff I recommend. Small not great spa but again the staff were lovely beautiful view

Positive: The location decor of rooms and public areas were gorgeous! The ground to well well kept and had fantastic view of the lake.
Negative: We booked two ‘privilege’ rooms to guarantee views of the lake. The rooms we were given (I explained this was for a family special occasion ) didn’t look much like the Booking.com photos. The view was spoilt by the roof of the restaurant. Also the view from the bedroom was obscured by the balcony wall and outdoor furniture - both of which could do with some refurbishment.

Negative: This is billed as a 4 star hotel. But it falls down on little things. We were there 2 days and were served 3 cups of coffee in cracked or chipped cups. The barstaff don't seem to know what glass to serve a brandy in. Why is the first thing you see as you walk onto the terrace a dead fir tree? Staff were friendly and had good language skills but management seems lacking.
Summary: Good location could be brilliant.
