Summary: Pretty cool house, unfortunately, when we arrived the bed was naked and some dirty bedsheets were by the washing machine In a pile. After reading the house rules, we figured out that the previous guests left their nasty bedsheets by the washing machine as they should, but the staff/ the owner never ran the load of laundry. We arrived at midnight and had to do the laundry to have clean bedsheets. We were exhausted after a long car drive ( 7hr) so that was annoying. The grill didn't work. The area was beautiful. Pet- friendly so that was nice cause we traveled with 2 dogs.

Summary: We could tell that it was not like advertised immediately. The gravel "sidewalk" is full of weeds. House has mold on siding; back door that leads to the small deck is gross. We messaged the host immediately as he requested to let him know that we arrived.Inside things seemed OK until we really started looking around. The bathroom has mold on the walls and on the shower doors. There is no blind on the bathroom window and faces the highway.We realized that we had no wifi immediately and reached out to the host but didn't get a response. We waited patiently but after about two hours we reached out to vrbo for support. The host also would not respond to Vrbo. At 2.5 hr he did and said he was flying. He gave wifi details that didn't match what was online or in the house. It worked.We discovered very little water in the hot tub and informed the host. He told us to go to the basement, get a hose and fill it. I asked him to have someone take care of it the following day. He told me "it just needs water." We never heard from him again and it was never fixed. With the amount of mold in the house I was not going to the basement and don't feel that was my responsibility.There is a light that flashes all night long into the bedroom. The neighbor says it flashes in his bedroom too and host won't respond.Beds were clean and comfy. Water was hot. Would not stay again. Vrbo should look closely before this is rented again. My first and maybe last Vrbo. I have pics.

Summary: The cabin was at a great location for our trip . The cabin was nice and relaxing . Plenty of room for us all.

Summary: It's a nice location in the Smokehole area, close to all the adventures in the area. The bathroom is very tiny but overall clean which is what you want for a place to adventure around from.

Summary: We had a nice stay Our grandson and us love the added bonus the goats that lived next to us We had nice weather we hiked our dog and grandson swam in the river and lots of other things

Summary: No fault of the property. Expedia issue. We were attending a conference at Canaan Resort. Expedia site said that the property was 17 miles away. The conference was 60 miles away, 1 hour 15-20 minute drive

Summary: House was clean. Hot tub and fire pit were great! Only four stars because of the following: 1. Inadequate bedding. No top sheet on one bed. No extra blankets. It was 20 degrees outside and the heaters had trouble keeping up. We were cold due to lack of adequate bedding; and 2. No shampoo or soap in shower. There was a dispenser for each, but it had not been refilled.

Summary: very comfortable. The goats in the back are really cute. Clean. No issues with WiFi. Close to trout fishing. Would stay again.

Summary: several things frying pans were burnt up - Air conditioners wouldn't work in main living room and first bedroom, the grill had grease down in the grill part caught small fire on the food we cooked, flyes were really bad too, overall house could use some work - Loved the goats, back deck was nice, did see the kitchen was updated it wasn't a worse time for us it worked out Thank you
