Their warm hospitality and attentiveness made all the difference—always ready with a smile and eager to help with directions, recommendations, or anything I needed. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and beautifully decorated with a traditional Turkish touch. My room was cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. What I loved most was the location—Leyenda Hotel is just a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and many other historical sites. It was the perfect base to explore the rich culture of Istanbul. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of fresh, local options served on a lovely terrace. The view from the rooftop during breakfast made every morning feel special. Overall, Leyenda Hotel offers a perfect mix of comfort, value, and authentic Turkish hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul—whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family. I would definitely stay here again!

Positive: Very good location, close to the old historic center with all the most important sites.
Negative: The hotel is in relatively bad shape. Some windows cant be opened or closed, door lock didnt work properly. It would badly need reconstruction and modernisation. But the biggest problem we had was with strong smoke (like from burning coal) coming from outside during night. We could not let the windows open and even with close windows the smoke entered the room and we could not sleep. It happened every night between midnight and 1am. We even moved to another room because of that but it was not much better, partly because the windows were not tight and the smoke entered the room even when they were closed. Also, when we arrived, we have been told we have booked an economy room on the -1 floor without windows (booking.com didnt say anything about that!) We have been told that if we pay extra 50 euros in cash we will get a room with windows. That looked like a scam. How can a room for 100 euros per night not have windows?
