3 Bedroom Cottage in Point Clark, Goderich

This sunny cottage hideaway is a real blessing offering serene water views, conversational outdoor gathering spaces, open concept living, and a minute's walk to the Lighthouse. AND NO STEPS to the water!
My fav spot is the Honeymoon Adirondack chairs with a book listening to the waves melt the stress away. Set some peanuts out and a BlueJay may join you! And if you come in Aug the Monarchs are exceptional
INSIDE
Open concept living space with new sectional couch. It's super comfortable - great cuddling while watching a movie!
2022 New Kitchen being installed (Pics to come!) And the kitchen is open with a good amount of counter space so you can be a part of everything going on. Dishwasher, washer and dryer all help while on vacation too.
2022 new hardwood flooring in the Great Room too!
And they all have views of the lake - blue blue blue

Basement has 3 piece bathroom (not pictured) and that's where the washer and dryer are too.
OUTSIDE
Another dining table with space for 6 and can shade yourself with the umbrella. Play games on the grass.
Or sneak off to the Honeymoon Adirondack chairs - make sure you don't pick the milkweed so we can welcome back the Monarchs that flock here year after year
The beach here is generally stoney but bring some water shoes OR you can walk 2 minutes to the sandy beaches at the Lighthouse.
We've left a couple of bikes - PointClark is a gem and you will appreciate a ride
You can gather round the firetable at night sharing scary stories! And these seats are way more comfortable than the folding chairs we grew up with. You may also have a fire on the beach but must be max 1m x1m wide and you will need to bring your own wood.
You have access to everything except the garden shed and a room in basement

Summary: We absolutely loved our time at the cottage! The cottage is really cute, very clean and has everything you could ever need. The jacuzzi was perfect for cooler days and evening, the kids had a kick out of it. We had so much fun playing board games, our family favourite was Crokinole. As for the view and the private beach access, we could not have asked for more. We will be back next year for sure!

Summary: Amazing vacation again!!! Cannot say enough about this cottage. We have stayed here twice and want to book again for next year. Cannot have had better accommodations. The beach is beautiful, the cottage is immaculate and the communication with Jennifer is perfect. Highly recommend staying here.

Summary: Our family had a wonderful stay at the Lighthouse Hideaway! The cottage was very inviting and had everything we needed. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped. We enjoyed watching many sunsets and sitting on the back deck with the fire table lit in the evening. The area is beautiful and all the neighbours were extremely friendly. Our two daughters (ages 5 and 8 years old) loved swimming in the lake and playing with the rocks and sand. Since the waterfront at the cottage is rocky, we were glad we all brought water shoes to wear. We also brought life jackets for our daughters as the water was rough on a couple of days. They spent hours jumping in the waves and just floating. For a sandier beach we sometimes walked 5 minutes to the public beach by the lighthouse. We also enjoyed the large selection of board games, bocce ball and soaking in the hot tub. We would not hesitate to return to this cottage. A relaxing and fun week was had by all!

Summary: We had a lovely stay at the Lighthouse Hideaway! The cottage was clean and in great condition. It was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Its a quiet area and perfect for young children. Waterfront was great. Its a bit rocky, but if you can do it (with water shoes!) there is a lovely sandy part about 5 feet past the rocks. The public beach is a short walk (or drive) which we also visited a few times. We had one small problem while we were there but Jennifer had it taken care of so quickly, it was no interruption to us. Will definitely be back!

Summary: We had a fabulous time and can not wait to return next year. It was extremely clean and we had everything we needed. There is not a lack of amenities. The beds were so comfy and the trundle worked out great for my girls and was comfortable. The water is good to swim in and the sandy beach down the road is perfect for the day. Jennifer’s communication was great and I found you were very quick to respond to us. Which was very nice since there was no one on one in person interaction. Cannot say enough about this cottage or Jennifer herself.
