Negative: very very inconvenient location, room/villa very hard to get to (funiculaire - adding 10mins just to move to breakfast), very cumbersome access to get to El Nido. Facilities/villas very dated and not as clean as they should be. Overall disappointing!

Positive: The rooms are good

Negative: The drive to the hotel is awful , the beach you cannot swim , you have to take a boat to a beach , I don’t know why they don’t use water taxis to a beach !! The breakfast is really bad , tiny bit of fruit ,it was mango season and never saw a mango ! The bar you have to pay for peanuts or any type of snack! One evening we heard a man walking around our apartment and woke us up scared ! Phoned security and they didn’t check and when I phoned again, they said it was maintenance - at 3 am !!! No apologies!!

Positive: The villa we stayed in was quite big and luxurious with amazing views! The service we received from our butlers Kenneth and Angelo were superb!

Negative: The funicular to the villas which are perched higher on the cliff were out of order so we had to walk up and down those steep long stairs which was exhausting. The pool was out of order the first night we got there. My friend got scratched on a coral and the nurse from the hospital should have given her antibiotics or a tetanus shot as she eventually got a bad infection days later.

Summary: Beautiful views with fantastic butler service!
