Positive: If Ohrid Town is a bit too hectic for you, drive on a few kilometres to Pestani for a complete change of pace. The host received me with Raki, coffee and conversation which gave a nice, personal touch. The room is basic but had a fantastic, large balcony overlooking gardens and mountains which I loved hanging out in. Lots of free street-parking. Place has a swimming pool which is nice ad unusual at this price-point.

Negative: Nothing. Needless to say, if you're looking for nightlife stay in Ohrid Town.

Negative: Some shower gel and shampoo for the showers would be great as it is difficult to bring them with you when travelling by plane.

Positive: The house is in Pestani, for us the best area in Ohrid Lake. It is a quiet place but you have all the services close to the accomodation, market, coffee shop, kayak and SUP rental, trips...The apartment is very confortable and surrounding by a beautiful garden and fruit trees and plants, and in the middle a nice swimming-pool. Boris and his family made us feel like at home, they were allways available for a friendly talk, a coffee or a little Raki. They are so welcoming and helpfull with everything! It was our first time in Macedonia and we had a great experience. We strongly recommend this house to everyone interested in Ohrid Lake
