Positive: No words can express how beautiful this farm is. Katie and James were such wonderful hosts and even with the small electrical hiccup, we had the best time ever and will be back!!. Hot tub was amazing, fireplace inside was perfect for the cool weather and the fireplace outside was roaring all the time. Enough wood for any South African wanting to braai and chill by the fire. A hidden gem, that we are hoping to make a regular stop at. Thank you for having us!

Negative: There is nothing to not like. Everything was liked :)

Positive: Very clean, comfortable and cosy. Enjoyed the hot tub!

Negative: Lots of emails from Sykes cottages after the initial booking, all saying the same thing and mostly advertising their company. Hard to find the actual check in instructions within all that. Luckily I had a message from the host with the info I needed.

Positive: The location was excellent, the feelings it provided was of remoteness and comfort. The hot tub was great with a view to match. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. Not behaving used a wood stove before took us some time to the get the hand of but with the instructions provided we got much better.

Negative: In the general write up it said there was a microwave, there isn’t. Having been I understand why and we managed to prepare our planned meals without it.

Summary: Lovely location, comfy and perfect for a relaxed break.

Positive: The location was excellent, in a beautiful peaceful part of the farm, with fantastic views. The bed was very comfortable and it was well equipped, with a generous amount of firewood. The shop and barn were a great addition.
